MissyG: M&S!! Didnt know you were 55 :p Joking! i often dabble in there (ocasionally!) You can still shop in H&M, and the younger end of the scales shops. Dont have to buy the key fashion pieces but they do nice dresses and things in new look that a big age span could wear. Would be closer to you size, the older the shops target audience is, the bigger the sizing gets it seems!

I know im well stressed now. I can so see why people turn to alcoholism to escape. My revision notes are going no where fast and im reading and higlighting then i stare out the window so i take a break like i am now. Its all rubbish rubbish rubbish. To top it all off i have bloody work tomorrow. Just need chocolate and some wine then it will be ok!

Shame matts got my car cos i fancy a session driving aruond the countryside with my music blearing so i can sing along and release some built up whatever is building up inside of me.

I'll stop going on now. Actually i want a cuddle aswell. Ok now ive stopped.

    Chill Vix-y,
You're not going to et nowhere by stressing. The best way to make things stick in your head is just to do something with them...turn it into a game, a song, a mnemonic or a mid map...or simply write them out condensing them down each time.

Make sure you get regular breaks as oherwise you'll wear yourself out but at the same time beware of serious procrastinations...for instance..If you could ahve gone out in the car...you would have ended up somewhere nice and then spend a log time there then when you get back it would have been tea time and then a programme will be on the telly and before you know it tomorrow arrives and you haven't done anything!

Try to remember this is the last time you'll hav to do this. If a topic is stressing you out then deal with that one first.

Wise advice Seren :T which I've found to be so true these last 2/3 weeks. I'm the worlds worst worrier/procrastinator and for once instead of sitting and worrying about some things I've tackled them head on, I made a list of certain things as suggested some while ago on this thread and it works, I hope it lasts but I have a short attention span :D ...

...Since I was here 'proper' I notce that we've had a lovely load of new peeps join us, and rather than upset anyone by missing their name off I'd like to say a big 'Welcome' to you all, you are amongst a good bunch of wonderful folk :T ...

...Off shopping now, but nowhere as chic as Bloomsbury for grannynise, it's Boots and Morrisons for me :o ...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Hi Beanie. The Mii age is based on a fitness test you can take on Wii Sport. Your Mii is the character you make to represent you in the games. Wii Fit has a separate test. I'm much younger on one than the other. Weird!

.......tagz, wanna be my Wii buddy? When I get home I'll have a look for my Wii number and send it to you. We can send each other gossipys about all the others on here :D

    well done all you losers!

I am on another inhaler as well now, does anyone know if the steroid one makes you gain weight. I am not sure but I am starving all the time and on my wii, that weight I 'lost' while ill has shot back up, makes me wanna cry!

Belated wishes to Suggs, hope you had a good one and enjoy your pressie when you go.

    Catch you all later.

    I've lost 1.5kg this week, so that's 3.3lb lost.
Which is flippin amazing considering I had a takeaway curry on Thursday . Oh well next week lets see if I can make it 2kg :rotfl:

  • I would have to say that having bought my Wii Fit yesterday afternoon and spent an hour and a half (although I only clocked up 1 hr in my Piggy - u have to have the WF to know!), I really enjoyed it. I am pretty fit anyway, as I go to the gym 3-5 times a week, but some days, especially when the weather is really naff, it's difficult to drag self out of house to go. WF is the answer. I am not sore today, but a tiny bit achy and I definitely had problems doing some of the exercises. It was interesting that a lot of the muscle progs, like lunges and so forth I got excellent on (stuff I do at the gym), but on most yoga stuff, which I never do, I was rubbish!! The football challenge had me wetting myself, as I kept being hit by footie boots on the head and shouting ouch, even though there was no-one else in the room! For those who find it difficult to exercise for whatever reason, WF is definitely going to help you. My wee sis has 2 pre-school kids and never gets a minute to herself. I've advised her to go get one, so she can exercise in her living room when kids are in bed. Go get yourself one today!!! Nothing better for a miserable bank holiday weekend. Right, off for today's workout! Sooz

    Hello Everyone!

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!

It's day 4 of my new healthy eating routine and I feel all the better for it. I find that drinking water rather than fizzy drinks actually makes me feel a lot less sluggish.

Went out cycling (again!) with OH today for 3 hours with a 1/2 break for a healthy picnic lunch in the park. We went to the ancient Japanese emporer's tomb in Sakai. There was a sign up saying it's the biggest tomb of it's kind in the world (I always thought the Egyption ones were - but then again you learn something new every day!)

Here's an ariel view pic for you all!

ps - Well done safesound !
