Ajax :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I don't mind who takes the cup, as I love [STRIKE]Team Sweden[/STRIKE] the Red Wings too (even though they don't have Sidney ;)), but all I want is some good fast end to end hockey worthy of a final :D If Game 4 can match Game 3 for intensity (whatever the oucome) I'll be one happy bunny!

    Wow.

No it's hopeless me trying to do replies after watching that game, I'll have to go work out first :rotfl:

... cheeky! And yeah, what girl doesn't love 8 muscular Swedish guys? :)
  • Annie021063 & efreize thanks for the suggestions, I have already tried the DVD at night but that didn't work because of disabled ds unfortunately. He has to sleep downstairs because he can't walk and is an extremely light sleeper and everytime I've tried it he has woken up and then been awake for hours, then I don't get any sleep, get depressed and frustrated etc, etc. I already do lots of the survey sites but find that spending too much time on the PC has contributed to my inability to lose weight and lack of sleep also.

Please don't think I'm making excuses as I really have tried lots of things but I need someone to be on at me constantly I think, so if anybody wants to volunteer, feel free to pm me at will!!!!

I have nobody in the area to encourage me or do things with on a regular basis so I've always tried to do it alone and this is where the problems lie.
My ex took away all my confidence so I find it really hard to approach people I don't know.

OMG I should be in therapy! (reading this back to myself) but I know what the problems are and it's just needing that constant push and support which is where I hope you can help.

Okay the trousers I have been wearing recently (size 28 M&S) I needed to dart and put a belt on and they were still falling down - so I swapped over to the same style, just a size 26 and they are just too snug!!! !!!!!!!:mad::mad:

I think the most important thing you have said here is 'the lack of food' - perhaps you should give your appraoch a bit of a shake up and try to approach your intake slightly differently. There are many programmes which enable you to eat a lot of food and still lose (or maintain weight). WW and SW allow a lot of free food and so it is always possible to fill up on things. Calorie counting seems to be a way of incorporating a lot of variation (in moderation) into your diet. Perhaps use this time to have athink about apporaching what you are doing slightly differently and see it as a challenge to lose or maintain using a different regime. Worth a try?

Everything is worth a try but at the mo I am so very fed up and *&^^((! off I cannot think properly:rolleyes: I have always been on WW because it is so easy to follow, practically no thinking, these are the points allowed end of, simple.
I am just floored and want to killl the world:rotfl: :rotfl:

annie thanks, to me it isn't a small gain to my mind it is 3lb off gaining 7lb or 7lb off going up a dress size or 9lb off the 5lb I wanted to loose to square it off to 0 after the stonage(4lb gained plus 5lb wanted to loose= 9lb)

No worries, victorious I shall be but at what cost to my sanity?
There is no way it will defeat me, will not let it happen.

It can be a vicious circle to us weak peeps but we know the victory boot camp and your determination will win.

..... it wasn't meant in that way. Hopefully, if I rephrase it to :

"It can be a vicious circle to us weak peeps but you are different. We've seen the victory boot camp and your determination will win."

... then that sounds more like I actually intended?? Can't believe you thought I called you weak lol.... when I think of strong wills on here, two names come to mind - and yours is one of them. xxx
  • Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Ajax, no particular plan being followed but portion control, healthy eating and exercise  I can only try! I put on weight doing WeightWatchers and didn't lose any with Slimming World so have just decided to eat healthily and avoid the word Diet at all costs! :D

Not sure I have ever lost 5lbs in one month- ever! Will do my best though and keep score and keep tabs and come seeking support when needed and offering support when needed :j :T

ajax, check my profile and click my weblink - i have a small business!

hi to feline and bright idea, welcome to our thread, i'm sure you'll benefit. Congrats to Dragon on her perfect size 27. Go you! Big yay for Molly too.

Victory, Please. please, go back and reread your posts about this gain. If this was your child or your niece, or your friend, how worried about them would you be? Because thats how we all feel for you. You have worked so hard to lose this weight, but I think you really need to step back and look at how you feel about yourself. You put so much pressure on yourself to be at this perfect weight, and when you aren't, you seem to be quite unhappy about it. Would it help to think hard about your acceptable weight range? You can't judge yourself against other people's achievements either - just looking at Missy's regime exhausts me, but i don;t feel guilty because it wouldn't work for me! take care of yourself hon.

I'm shaking with rage here. I had a 'mare with a delivery for my business and ended up having to deal with it. Next news, my boss has called me down to the office downstairs and tried to reprimand me. I could have completely lost it, but I stood my ground, pointed out that I followed all the ground rules, was scrupulously honest with my usage of day job company stuff ( ie, i don't) and didn't think it any different to endless numbers of personal calls the other people in the office make - but at least i have the good grace to do it on a break. I make calls at my desk which means i can still answer their phones, and I'm not hiding away - everything i do is in the open and noone can say i'm ding anything surreptitiously, or cheating hte company in anyway. And when i do need time elsewhere, it always, always adds up. He kinda backed down and asked me to go to a different office to make calls on my break as 'other people don't understand'. I' asked him outright if he trusted me and he said he does, it isn't him, it's these mysterious 'other people'. I'm furious at the maliciousness on display here, and really can't bring myself to be civil to these people any more. What the F£_D is it to do with any of them anyway! Bear in mind, these are people who actually benefit from my business as i bring them fresh baked patisserie from one of my suppliers regularly. grrrrrrrrrrrr . . . .
