FelineFantastic and Bright-Idea - welcome to the forum and good luck with your weight loss!
I've found this forum invaluable in keeping myself focused - I'm sure you will both too. Make sure you check in often!

Welcome Bright Idea: Its a toughie, the evenings are the time i want to eat things, and i normally dont put up much a fight either!! There is always here of course!! If you leave coming on till the evenings there is usually alot of chat to catch up on. Then theres facebook....
Or, why dont you drink loads or brush your teeth? Two old chesnuts to curb an appetite isnt it. Anyway, good luck!
Victory: Hope you find a way to deal with your weight. The feeling of not eating enough just ends up in binges, with horrible pile ons as you probably know! Youre a strong member of the LW threads, wont be the same without you!
I went shopping again today. Spent Zilch cos i was personal shopper to my mother. Jesus. In the end i was in M&S, i got a shopping bag and i went round pilling it all in it for mum totry on. Glad i did cos she ended up with 3 tops. Then we went back to try on some hold you in knickers and now she hasnt taken them off so shes happy at least! She also bought me a £1 sale pair of knickers from m&s (and didnt want me to pay her back!! dunno whats wrong with mum)

Afternoon All
Fifth day in the gym, I am shattered, went for it as usual, more so that I have been feeling out of sorts for a couple of days, no reason, just tired and fedup. Carpets are down and the bedroom all decorated, even started selling a couple of things on ebay. On the subject of carpets, I now need to find a new place to weigh as the bedroom has been done. Anyone used those feet that come with the scales, for carpets? so it says?
Actually maybe I should go back on the main board? I felt left out having lost 5.6lb and not even getting mention, I knows its stupid and childish, and maybe now the rugby season is over, my journey destination has moved on. Rugby wise, I know I cannot hope to play my old position next season, I have to change and adapt to move on. Sorry whinging again, I know I must really annoy people, losing weight when I should be STS. Guess I have not come to a stop??
Victory, while your looking for yours, can you find mine too please. One bad week does not a ruined journey make(((HuGs))))
Welcome to the thread FelineFantastic and Bright-Idea As always I would suggest having a nose on page one, plenty of links and information there, as well as lovely before and after pics of our very own starlight :j
Dragon I understand a little about M&S sizing, I recently bought two pairs of jeans from there and there are different sizes!! Even the assistant didnt understand that. The darker pair were too tight so had to go up a size.ajaxgeezer wrote: »Grrr!! Just had my P60. Why oh why have the Inland Revenue left pension contributions off it this year? There's normally a Total Gross box and a Taxable Gross box, this year only a Taxable Gross.
Of course, when it comes to filling in the self assessment they'll want both totals
Ajax, I only noted this year I had never claimed my tax relief for pension contribution, my new tax advisor told me, so the letter is in to claim for the last six years :eek:ajaxgeezer wrote: »Efrieze, looks like we have two more for the chart: *Bright-Idea* (not happy about that, it might alphabetically go above me) and FelineFantastic
Theres a surprise, Ajax prefers to be on top! :rotfl:Proud Member of the Lose Weight Thread on I Wanna..................

Hi efirieze, could you put me down for a s/s for this week and next week please as we're off to Center Parcs tomorrow and I didn't go to class today and won't be there next Thursday due to being on holiday - thanks xxChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0

victory - I'm really sorry you are suffering so:( .
Didn't manage the swim today as woke with painful gum and saw my dentist instead. But I did go shopping with my trolley and it's fab - can highly recommend one: made life so much easier. It carries loads of stuff and yet was easy to pull home. Also feel smug for using local butcher and greengrocer instead of mr sainsbury. Sitting here with my reward of some cherries. Yum.
More newbies :j :j Welcome FF and bright idea. You didn't sound like you were making excuses B-I, just explaining what you'd tried and so far isn't working for you. We know it's tough on your own - that's why we hang out here for ideas and encouragement. Every small change will help. Even if you feel you've blown it - if you've only blown it half as much as you would have before that's a good result in the right direction. Just post as often as you can for maximum benefit and help us get to know you and share ideas.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: yes it is but I laugh because I know I'd be exactly the sameand maybe now the rugby season is over, my journey destination has moved on. Rugby wise, I know I cannot hope to play my old position next season, I have to change and adapt to move on.
... I am so glad you've said this. I should keep my thoughts out of other peoples' business but you may remember me asking you last year how you saw your rugby/WL seesaw going? This is what I had in mindRugby is temporary and it would be a shame to maintain a higher weight than you really desire.
Sorry whinging again, I know I must really annoy people, losing weight when I should be STS. Guess I have not come to a stop??
not whingeing, more... musing! Does this mean you'll be fully down from your smug maintainers perch to down here with the ne'er-do-wells?Ajax, I only noted this year I had never claimed my tax relief for pension contribution, my new tax advisor told me, so the letter is in to claim for the last six years
... should be easy enough if you've the documentation to hand. They (HMRC) should  really have seen it and advised you. Or if you are self-employed and self-assess online then the form should have looked after it automatically.Theres a surprise, Ajax prefers to be on top! :rotfl:just had to lower the tone didn't you? The newbies will easily distinguish between you (smutmeister) and me (:A )

ajax weak prob hit a nerve because I must be..4lb gain:rolleyes:
brighton belle thank you;)
suggs I know but it feels like it:rolleyes:
vix:D
missyg I only ate for 2 days and stopped so it is 2lb gain a day 4lb for the two days:eek: since then I have gone straight back onto it, I have walked for 4 hours today in the rain yes:D there is no way next tuesday is going to read 4lb heavier more like 4lb less and then some:rotfl: I know with the work I am going to put in this week as it is half term and we can go out all day walking etc next tuesday is going to be the reading I want;)
I have had a 5lb gain at xmas a 3lb gain in feb I think, 2lb at easter, another 3lb somewhere but that came off within 3 days so discounted that one as the tuesday weigh in was the same in the end and this one of 4lb so I have had plenty of gains, loads of loses and many many weeks at sts. No, I am not happy:rotfl: but it will not beat me so from now from morning till night until tuesday it is game on, I will beat the scales;)0 -

....weak, my @r$€. Weak people don't do this: "5stone 11lost"
It's "just" a gain - one gain, and I've known you gain more!!
Even the Romans found that purely straight roads didn't work - that's why they put kinks and turns in to make it easier to get to their final destination.
You'll be finex

Blimmin 'eck 6 pages to catch up on, it's always the same when ajax is at work
...
...Nice to see feline fantastic and bright idea join us :j Do try the 5lb challenge, I found it to be a huge incentive even if I didn't quite manage it some months. You'll find plenty of support here so just be strict with yourselves as only you can control what you actually eat...
...Grannynise I was sorry to read that you're struggling somewhat and I can't add much to what young ajax said, except that perhaps you could try keeping a food diary and make sure that you record every little thing that you eat. I find that just by looking at what I've had during a day can stop me having something that is really unncessary. Whatever you do though, please don't give up, you've done so well and it would be a shame to see it all come to nought...
...Suggs I think your 5.6lbs was :j :j and I'm of the opinion that if it's coming off at that rate then it's there to come off, but of course it's entirely up to you :j Take care x...
...Vix Thanks for that hilarious post about the snog :rotfl: :rotfl: I had tears rolling down my face:rotfl: . If the thought of a saliva covered beer tasting tongue flapping about your mouth didn't put anyone off food then they are stronger than me...
...Vic that weight gain will be only temporary, annoying as it is don't let it you down; it's holiday time soon...
...Now the important stuff....tennis :rotfl: ...Nadal has played 2 brilliant matches :j :j and young Murray played a great match too:j :j his temperament was spot on even when he could have got a real strop on although he did say his bit to the umpire after the match. You'll also be pleased to know that gorgeous Gonzo is through too :rotfl: :jI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
