congrats beanilou and well done to everyone who has lost or sts.

I havent weighed again, will get round to it soon and still not doing too well. I did join up to the free tesco ediets trial, there is loads of stuff you can print off - so I did and then I cancelled! It would have been quite expensive to continue with it but I have loads of info on the GI diet, and a quick start diet including shopping lists and recipes, you just have to cancel within 10 days. I just have to start it now!

    take care all

Morning lovely peeps:D thanks for the compliment ajax;)

I am in a lovely skirt today, it is freezing but want to feel feminine, all made up ready to go to M&s to see what the £10 dine for 2 deal is and then on to top tiles to get some tiles for the bathroom and then Morrisons to spend the sun £5 off voucher if you spend over £30.:D

Yesterday I bought a lot of make up but got charged wrong for it, went back to complain, the young girl ended up giving me another nail varnish, giving me money back, repeating the points on my card and undercharging me:rotfl: so I got around £60 worth of make up for £26:D I got the garnier under eye roll on they advertise on the tele, anything that is advertised I am a sucker for, my true weakness is black mascara, when another one comes out I am running to the shop to buy it:D I have them all and to be honest they all do the same thing:rolleyes: bourjouis is my fav though, my nails are painted in my free borjouis nail varnish, oh the joy of freeness:D

Morning one and all, Still dissappointed, I know I did well last week and then the joys of one nights drinking ruined it for me. To be honest I forgot how badly drinking effects my weight.
Starting from last week and yes I was daily weighing. Average food intake was approx 2000cals a day

    Sat +0.2lb
    Sun +8.0lb
    Mon 0.0lb Gym 15min bike 15min cross trainer 2mile jog 955calories
    Tues -1.5lb Gym 15min bike 15min cross trainer 15min jog 906calories
    Wed -2.2lb Gym 15min bike 3.5mile jog 954calories
    Thur -2.0lb Gym 15min bike 15min cross trainer 15min job 899calories
    Fri -1.8lb
So this week is a gain, albeit a temporary one of 0.8lb
Figures (compared to two weeks ago, last time I posted them)
    BMI 33.08 from 32.5
    Body Fat 24% from 25.3% :):)
    Muscle Mass 11st 8lb from 11st 6.8lb :)
So a real hard week for me, I should be proud of what I have done, (I am slightly) but been a logical person, it is hard to fathom that one night heavy drinking can have such a dramatic effect, a meal out doesnt have that effect on me! After all I hardly drunk (28000 cals!) There is no logic!! I know people say it is simple maths, but in my case there still seems to be a time-delay of some sort!! I have the new body fat numbers to cling too :) Still at least it shows my dedication. I suppose as well, things went slightly against me yesterday, as I ate a microwave meal (380cals) at 11pm last night as I was at the rugby club AGM till 10.30.
Missy I have the joys of a long weekend drinking and watching rugby in cardiff, oh no scrub that, not going now, silly sod went and broke his leg didnt he!! So I have the joys of decorting the bedroom!! Add to that I am also taking delivery of French and back Doors tomoorrow between 7-10.30am. Heading out later to take broken leg man to collect a wheelchair so he can get around this weekend.
LL Hope all ok mate, theres a first unread button?? :o
Welcome back Annie :j good to see you once again
KPC, would love to say as probably the nearest to Bromham I will be there, but I cant promise anything, its meant to pourdown Sunday at the momemt, so bring your brolly.
Victory sounding mighty fine as always, love the fact your dressing up and treating yourself :) is the M&S deal any good?

Wennndyyyy yyou suureee youuurrr nnott tooooo ppphhisshhheeddd??? LOL

BB thanks for the info about Geocaching, I can see it might add a bit of fun to a day out if you already have GPS but we don't have one. Let us know how you get on if you give it a go! (I think GPS starts at about £80 for cheap ones).

Lois - hope you have a much better day today, hate those days when nothing is straightforward  Enjoy your break. I went to have a look at the noodles issue but the site was down, I know what you mean about the portions though :rotfl:

Ajax, glad SW is working out for you :D In my opinion, one "plan" doesn't always suit every stage of an individual's weight loss (though for some, it does!). I did very well in the beginning just cutting out junk, eating less and taking more exercise without counting a thing. Now that I'm a smaller size, things are much more marginal and 100 cals margin of error per day really is the difference between a loss and a gain. So I've knuckled down accordingly.

My calorie needs are also very low so on a week where I'm trying to lose weight I'm physically counting 1,200 calories per day which might be only half what a healthy male would have to count. So it's not as daunting a task for me as it would be for some people :) As my diet is also not that varied, I know all my 'usuals' off by heart. I think what I'm trying to say is I don't think I'm putting in any more effort on the "workings out" than anyone on other plans, even though all my 'numbers' might make it look like I am :D

Victory, is a gain really such a bad thing if it's an expected/enjoyed gain? I am wondering if you ever allow yourself a gain? I remember you had 2lb (ish?) off at the Easter hols but I don't remember any of it going back on... could be wrong. Hope you have a good shopping trip today anyway, you're always getting freebies/extra value which is ace! :D

Brilliant Wendy, glad you had a good evening, managed to enjoy some food and still came away feeling good! That's the way to go! :D

Well I am heading over to Snow+Rock to see what's in their sale, maybe pick up a couple of things for our next skiing trip and a tech t-shirt or two for cycling etc. Was planning to cycle over but TOTM has arrived with a vengence and I'm sure the ladies will understand when I say I'm just NOT in the mood to be rained on and buffeted about by the wind :rotfl: Will cross-train later instead.

    Bargains here I come! (Hopefully).

edit: Suggs just seen your post, I'll have a proper read of it when I get back xx

morning peeps (hoarse whisper and fevered brow alert). I don't feel very well:( so have not gone into work today.
Ajax - I find shopping with SW really really easy so I guess it is down to individual style. I tend to eat the same food/meals over a two week cycle (so have plenty of variety) so know all my favourites. Nearly all meals I cook from scratch and syn up the once so when I repeat the recipe I already know what it is. Becasue I shop on line I can syn before purchase if necessary, although I am switching more to using local shops for fresh produce.
fritata for lunch (bacon, HEB cheese, spinch, nutmeg and eggs) all free so just have to weigh the cheese portion, with HM coleslaw so just need to count the mayo syns - .5 per tblsp for my extra low fat one.
Roast turkey tonight with HEb roast potatoes in skins) and loads of green veg.Trying to stick to plan today as due to feeling poorly last night OH force fed me tea cakes to stop the halucinations I've been have since SueUU mentioned them earlier in the week. EDIT: just checked syns online and I see teacakes appear to be only 2.5 syns each. Suddenly the day is loking brighter:D

Didn't realise handheld GPs were that expensive missyg, sorry.
Would love to come and see you kpc (bpc just ain't right:D ) but too far this time. There's a medieval shindig at Arundle (or was it Amberley)which would have been nice and close. No plans for weekend as OH working.
    Suggs - a 0.8+ is pretty much a maintain isn't it? Welldone.
Exhausted now so back for another lie down:o .
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

morning everyone.Another sunny day here.I'm not walking today but have some housework to catch up on.My clothes are starting to feel looser and I'm feeling much more positive about things. My friend even said yesterday how much better I'm looking and that I'm now walking tall.Diet wise I could do with some tempting summer recipes.Low GI if anyone can point me in the right direction.I have just spent £90 on an asda home delivery and most of that was fruit and veg.I'm going through loads these days.
Hope you all have a lovely day.be good :)
