I'm only up about 4 pages back but wanted to catch Ajax with another suggestion, if possible, before you bought the voucher. Design and print off your own voucher to give to her. Make it along the lines of:

In celebration of our Paper Wedding Anniversary you get this very special voucher. Made lovingly (?) by your (hubby, fluffelpuff, pain in the neck - whatever suits :rotfl: ). This voucher entitles you to:

(then whatever you insist she gets)

    e.g.
    1 x Lunch
1 x article of clothing / footwear / accessory at a minimum spend of £00 (this should take care of her not 'treating' herself)
    1 x (anything else... )

To be used at your leisure - just pick a day.

Hugs, hugs, kissy, kissy, etc. :)

..... oh my god Erlqueen, that's disgustingly cheesy, horrid and tacky...... I absolutely love it!! Great solution about getting round the treating thing too. I think I'm gonna nominate that post of the month!! :D

LOL - heard you the first time Victory but can't help with your decision, sorry  I'm bound to suggest the wrong thing and I'm not strong enough to shoulder the blame :)

Ajax - Just remember if you go with the voucher idea to keep a copy. T'wouldn't suit if the *anything else* was a little too... how shall I put this?... intimate >< :D and she surprised you by wanting it framing and putting on the kitchen wall!

....:D that's not going to happen. We only get one set of regular visitors - her parents .

Victory's post..... so good she said it twice.

right, so just to recap here victory: in Jan you were very happy at a target weight of 80lbs lost. You are now 6.3lbs over that target and from somwhere you desparatelywant to lose another 5lbs now so your numbers end in a 0 or a 5 and you are feeling hungry a lot....MMmmmmmm. Me thinks you might need to look at those 3 facts and see which bit doesn't compute on the Bb sanity register:D xx.
Ajax -great to here you so determined and enjoyng your switch to SW once more. Tagz - Ajax is right, there is some weighing, but it's more than that, ther is a balancing system of Healthy a's and b's (to ensure a healthy balanced diet with plenty of roughage) that you wouldnt be able to suss as a newbie from just recipies. I was shocked to learn from kpc that if you subscibe online you don't a level of 'support to replace what you would get at a meeting. Defo not worth it then. SW does take a little getting your head round for the first few weeks. My advice would be go to a local meeting, pay the joining fee and get the proper explanation of the system from the expert consultant - get given the main book you need and don't return if you dont want a meeting - or just do a couple til you know you are in the swing of it, and then just ask us questions as you go.
Just been swimming again peeps - very good but came back ravenous so had boiled egg and some salmon, free on red days, yum.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

.... she raises a point so valid that not even victory can argue :)

... 100% in agreement with this, except the paying the joining fee bit. If you act quickly, you'll catch the amnesty on the joining fee they currently have (spotted that on the back of the magazine in Tesco), meaning you'd only pay the weekly meeting fee - roughly a fiver. Also, if you did go to the meeting, you can tell them you are a shift worker and so therefore can only attend every other class. Shift workers only pay for the classes they can actually attend ;) although there's bound to be a minimum frequency involved in that. If you did that you'd only pay every (let's say) other week, and still get all your questions answered on here. Of course, if you loved it and wanted to go and pay every week, you "liked it so much you did a swap at work"

Bb I left out the concept of HeB's and HeA's for simplicity .... covered it with breakfast cereals are one of the few exceptions :D

Thanks for your numbers Efrieze, that suggests my estimate of 320 for what I did yesterday was a bit over-hopeful :p But at least not wildly inaccurate.

I've been getting a few of my calories burned estimates from this site lately:
http://www.fitday.com/webfit/burned/calories_burned.html - I like how you can personalise the results with your height, weight, age and gender.

I did a short jog today of 3,012 paces, 1.2 miles - slowish pace, no walking :)

Victory - what about a compromise, if your "pig out day" would normally be twice what you usually eat, then plan to have 1.5x what you would usually eat instead just for a day? Children are off school next week, right? Remember last time you lost weight just from taking them to the park etc.

Anything interesting happen at the pool today BB? Was it the same session you swam at last time with the older peeps?

What's everyone up to this weekend? Half term next week so I'm going to plan an action-packed week for my son (9) and myself, any ideas for really active stuff that can be done on a budget will be most welcome! (Don't mind spending a bit, it doesn't have to be free).
