Flowers, balloons, love poems? Are there any other females on here who can't stand that sort of thing :rotfl: or is it just me?I really don't have the 'girly' gene at all
......not quite 'on here' missy but I know someone who can't be done with that slushy stuff - my bird! I proposed on one knee in a beautiful Amsterdam evening. Lovely bridge across a quiet waterway... the works! Her response? "Get up, you're embarrassing me"
EDIT: PS, anyone fancy helping me drink some of this new John Terry vodka? Turns out he made it himself and bottled it in Moscow0 -

Morning All
Trust we are all well. Bit of a nail biter last night on the football. Should have had money on Ronaldo scoring! Anyways I have the joys of the gym to look forward to later! I dont think I will be as energetic as yesterday. Lois, thanks for the suggestion, I think that 10K is to soon for me, but I am watching out for the ones around Willen in the Autum. Bails, If think you asked? the gold bond places are sorted after the results of the public ballot. You have to promise to raise a mimium amount in some cases £2000  I have thought about who I would raise money for, its a choice of a cancer charity, local hospital special care baby unit or the local hospice, all charities close to my heart.
Dragon, sorry about DrD, I guess its the nature of the IT world, I suffered at its hands before too. I hope it all works out for him and if that means moving on, then maybe thats the best?

Maybe it is the thyroid that is doing it, should get my results next week, so who knows until then, but I will plod on I suppose
Well done to all losers and maintainers.

Thanks Suggs - He has a few applications out there (one of which in the advert said "must be able to cope with stress" as Dr Dragon said That is illegal! you are not allowed to discriminate on the grounds of health!), still we will see how it goes - at the moment they are all for less than he is on which is not good (especially as his salary isn't brilliant at the moment for his training and the fact that he has a PhD in Chemical Engineering!), so see how it goes - if push comes to shove my meagre amount of money can go into the pot as well (well provided I leave enough to pay my bills!)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

hmmm,, i'm thinking about knocking my sw online subscription on the head. Like Ajax says, you get recipes, a food diary syn calculator and a spreadsheet - well, I can find recipesfor myself, I never seem to have the time for the food diary and I guess i could make a spreadsheet myself. My main bummer would be losing the syns function. but then again, i very rarely use it? Would i be able to manage with jsut the magazine? All suggestions gratefully received . . . .0
