Victory, I wish your OH would share your obvious passion for the place :(
So do I so do I:rolleyes:

froggy every relationship hits bad times mine included where you look at him and think, what am I doing? Why? What isthe point? There are many times like that and undoubtedly many more to come but the key is to not let it escalate with resentment, unsaid things, start bickering and being nasty to each other, that gets you nowhere, communication is the key, either verbally face to face in a letter, on a tape so he can listen to it, things look and feel worse than they actually are a lot of the time, give it time, take some space out, give yourself time to think, time to reflect on what has happened or been said and then make a clear headed decision....:D
ajax I wish I was like you...clever with money, enjoy xx

Froggy: Can you not talk things through? Perhaps a bit of time apart will do you both some good to put things into perspective.

I dunno about you, or what your relationship is like but do you really feel like it is over? I know when matt and i argue that even though i probably hate him so much at that point, i know we will work through it and come out hugging the otherside.

It can be very lonely to go it alone. Im only a year older than you, and last night i was only saying that i didnt know if i was ready to move out, to come home and there be no one there to welcome me, to pay the bills and miss the company of my family. It may be better to go back home, youre still really young to get away with it.

I hope things go ok with your boyf, youve been together so long, would be shame to waste it.

Brighton belle: This might sound agest, but instead of having a womens only session, why dont they have a oap session! Then have a womens only session for the other end of the scale. I dunno, it does sound agest doesnt it ha.
But vix, froggy was still a child when she first met her bf - how much sadder to stay together out of habit and fear (which I am NOT saying your are doing froggy girl). The 5 years together would never ever be wasted if they split up now - froggy would have learnt so much from that relationship, have a stronger sense of self and what was improtant to her as an individual and what she wanted from any future relationship. Yes, it is hard going it alone, but it can be the best way to trully discover yourself if you are in a relationship which doen't allow you to blossom and grow. The person I was at 21 is completely differnt to the one I am now. Too many compromises to young is so sad.
As for the oap session - that's the trouble, the oap's used to have their own session and then the council cut the funding, so they have been pushed around and short changed. and forced to compromisE. The main pool in town caters much more for young folk/fast swimming women.
I'm not suprised you can't focus on wl: you still need to chill a bit longer girliexx
Victory - thanks for the brilliant idea for cottage pie topping: will defo do that. Love the fritata idea wendy and must look up kpc's potato rostie. Yum.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Thanks for all the advice all, I do feel like I am a different person with different ambitions now and in some ways i feel like am supporting my bf mentally I always ask how he is and never get asked in return.
My heads just a bit all over the place most of my friends are both of our friends so its difficult to talk to any of them hense the reason am talking about it here. Going to go up to my mums later this week and have a chat with her she met my dad when she was young 18 and then split up a few years later so she must have gone through it all.
I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something

I love it over there, it is where I grew up, where my decades old friends are, the true ones you keep for life, my dad is buried there so I go to the cementary to visit him, I love the chilled out atmosphere, the easy pace of life, I speak perfect spanish and love the way the spaniards handle stress what stress?:D I know all the streets, everyone knows me when I was little and I know them, it is home where I would want to live but OH has a job here his life here hates it there and divorce would be the only way I would get to live over there:rolleyes: iT makes me feel alive, free, happy and loved by one and all, like an old friend it is to me...

    Hi all,
Kinda new here after stumbling across your board whilst looking for TESCO bits and pieces - Dont ask - PMSL
And I must say you are a very inspirational group, saw Starlight on the first page! WOW is all i can say... So...
I need some advice, after popping your page on my desktop and bookmarking the page, I think i need some guidance on how to lose some weight after having my first baby - Ben- who is now 10 months. Feel like the time is right to do something with my 13st 5 frame :( Im really unhappy and need to know what diets do well, Im hoping to get a WiiFit board soon - when they are ever in stock so that might help and I am going to look through the recipe section in a bit and satrt making a shopping list!
Wish me luck and any tips to lose weight much appreciated x

It is just 'my place, where I can be me, the real me':D it brings back the fun in life, the carefree, young, stress free, happy days when no illnesses were there, when life was fun (mind you every single time I get stopped at the airport so they can look at my vanity case full of insulin, medicines, needles etc:rotfl: :rotfl: )
