    Hi Victory

Don't mean to pry but is there any particular reason you want to go to Spain? Just thought maybe OH might go with you if you went somewhere else just as sunny (plus added bonus of no dragon!).

PRY ALL YOU like:D I love it over there, it is where I grew up, where my decades old friends are, the true ones you keep for life, my dad is buried there so I go to the cementary to visit him, I love the chilled out atmosphere, the easy pace of life, I speak perfect spanish and love the way the spaniards handle stress what stress?:D I know all the streets, everyone knows me when I was little and I know them, it is home where I would want to live but OH has a job here his life here hates it there and divorce would be the only way I would get to live over there:rolleyes: iT makes me feel alive, free, happy and loved by one and all, like an old friend it is to me...

victory, Can you try going somewhere else? If your mother is anything like mine was, and I think she is, it won't be a 'holiday' at all.

Yes I can but to me it is the cheapest way of getting a hol and with house buying this year any penny counts:D I buy the flights and rent off a friend of a friend for very little, much less than the summer going rate, I don't need to take beach towels friends lend me those, no need to worry about food friends invite me, never drink so don't need alcohol money, never go out for meals because friends invite me so it is a cheap as chips summer hol, my mother is a law unto herself, she is not speaking to me at the moment, hang up on me when I tried ringing, no idea why but I am sure she has a reason:rotfl: :rotfl: I don't go for her, I go for me and my kids who love the freedom the beach which is within eyesight of the flat, the way they can go out to the fiestas until 2am and feel safe with their friends or just me, if mum comes so be it but otherwise hey ho:D

My OH says it is like going on a day trip to Margate but extended, boring, repetitive(he doesn't speak spanish so htat does not help for him to join in) He reckons he has seen it, done it, been to the beach, seen al lthe touristy bits, bored out of his brains with it:D I love it:D

victory, your description makes it sound like heaven. It is great to see old friends again too. Last weekend I decided that when we were away I was going to see friends as well as relatives and it was such a great pick me up and I can think back to it and it gives me a lift so go do it for yourself.

Had a massive argument with the bf - we arnt speaking and its doing my head in. I'm 20 and met him when i was 15 and moved in with him at 16! Everytime we patch it up we then have a argue worse. I have everything at him house but i pay him "rent" so ive told him i will be staying for the next 2 weeks as i have paid him for them. Don't know if i should try and ask my mum if i can move in (with my 3 cats!) or find somewhere on my own. Never lived on my own so its very strange.

But i havnt turned to food!
I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something

Froggy: Can you not talk things through? Perhaps a bit of time apart will do you both some good to put things into perspective.

I dunno about you, or what your relationship is like but do you really feel like it is over? I know when matt and i argue that even though i probably hate him so much at that point, i know we will work through it and come out hugging the otherside.

It can be very lonely to go it alone. Im only a year older than you, and last night i was only saying that i didnt know if i was ready to move out, to come home and there be no one there to welcome me, to pay the bills and miss the company of my family. It may be better to go back home, youre still really young to get away with it.

I hope things go ok with your boyf, youve been together so long, would be shame to waste it.

Brighton belle: This might sound agest, but instead of having a womens only session, why dont they have a oap session! Then have a womens only session for the other end of the scale. I dunno, it does sound agest doesnt it ha.

Missyg: Pineapple do a se of wrist weights for £5 (i think) they are pink so totally the best ive seen/got. I used to wear them to do every day tasks, like going on the laptop!

Victory: I must say, spain has got very repetitive now! If i were in your situation though, it would be different. Much more elements to make me wanna go. I might try the quiet side of ibiza, sounds lovelly! (spain is better than margate, margate cant even get a good primark!)

I think ive done well today. Ive worked 10-3 so ive had a kit kat and two butter puffs for lunch, as well as toast for breakfast. Didnt have anything else indoors to have. Still cant get into a weightloss mindset :(

    Hi Froggy

Sorry to hear you are having a bad time.

I know how daunting it can be to think about living on your own, but I'm sure if you decide to do it you will soon get used to it. Do you think this will be the end for you and your BF? Maybe you will patch things up again, but this time try to talk about why you had the arguement in the first place. I've been with my OH for 20 years and we've had some humdingers ourselves! And remember you can always let of steam on here!

And well done for not turning to the food - I usually turn to something chocolatey for support but regret it afterwards!

......hmmm.... are you sure about 2 syns for the whole thing? When cous cous is used as a flour substitute (like in cakes) it's not free. The cous cous cakes we used to make - both the lemon one and the mincemeat one - were synned at about 10 or 12 per cake.

To wander a little.... I'm a happy geezer cos I just got a lovely stooze. Card provider called to offer me a balance transfer - 3.9% for 12 months with a 3% transfer fee. "Hahaha, try again", said I ! We eventually did the deal at 0% interest for 9 months with a 1% transfer fee - the lowest I've ever got. They even increased my limit by two grand so I could make the best of it!! A brand new £7600 into my bank account.. should net me a nice £270 over the nine months. What credit crunch? lol

    Hope you sort it froggy
