i started end of feb 08! this was my 13th week!! not brought no new clothes yet as i had lots from when i lost it all before!!
thanks for all your support everyone!!0 -
Well the sports bra was a reasonable fit but offered no more support than my day bra :rotfl: ... also not in the condition I would expect for a new bra... ho hum. The search continues.
Tagz - sports bras, normal bras, it's the same hassle every time for me too. I've been fitted for bras about 6 times in the past year due to my changing shape. I try on loads of different styles and sizes and I'm lucky if I end up with one bra that is an 'acceptable' (but never a PERFECT) fit. Then it's never a colour I like, or doesn't have matching briefs, but I have to take it anyway because there is nothing else
I reckon the ladies in Debenhams go on their tea break when they see me walk in now, cos they know it's gonna take ages :rotfl: But all credit to them, they persevere and don't try to palm me off with something that's a poor fit.
Shock Absorbers seem to work for everyone except meI've tried loads.
Anyway enough whinging :rotfl: I'll get something eventually I'm sure.
:j Safesound :j Congrats!0 -

I managed 9140 steps yesterday - I wanted to make it to the round 10K but it was getting late and I was tired.
I have been really, really lazy this morning. I got up about an hour ago to make lunch and have managed to put a wash on. DS brought me toast and butter in bed for bfast and OH kept the coffee flowing. Was in bed all morning reading the paper, doing the crosswords and suduko puzzles. Then the brats, sorry teenagers decided to join me with their games and to read my papers, mags, so I had to join in and play backgammon on my phone and animal crossing on the DS (Nintendo not son!) Don't think this will get any exercise or housework (what's that) done. There again I chose my name with good reason.:rotfl: Had pasta with a tomato and bean sauce for lunch. Yuk. Used the cheap penne from Asda and tin of rosecoco beans from their 5 for 1 pound offer. Will have to come up with a better sauce next time. Put mozzerella on the youngsters but us oldies had to do without in the name of weight loss. I am out at 7 tonight so will have to get a move on with the walking. Housework?? Oh well.:DWL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

tagz primark is at the end of oxford street on the left, got two belts £1 each and some blue ballet pumps £4 in the sale (oh I do know how to spend me:rotfl: ) the candles were £54 each:eek: oh but they smell divine, smelt them all, got a few face cream samples for free, a few perfume samples for free, WHsmith paper voucher for some little plastic monsters the little one wanted, won £7 on a scratchcard and came home to watch the football, all in all a good day, loads of walking
I must say I AM a little miffed at myself though because instead of the usual wholemeal pitta bread I have at weekends (never have bread in the week) the kids were taking with them worbutons white bun sandwich things so I took myself 2 with lean chicken and never thought anything of it, came home and they are each not together each 148 cals:eek: 298 cals without the filling for lunch, must drop some cals the rest of the day now:D0 -

Afternoon everyone.Well done everyone on their weightloss.i've seen some very impressive numbers.I'm staying away from the scales at the moment. The doctor weighed me at my last app and I want to see how much I've lost when I next see hime.Lets hope its something lol.
I've been walking miles everday this week which is really enjoyable as I go with a friend.
Yesterday I decided to wear my pedometre( free from the times).I wore it from 8.30am when leaving the house and took it of at 3pm before school pick up.I did over 22000 steps. This worked out at 7.5 miles.I was really pleased.
I feel that my face has thinned and it may sound strange but my fingers feel slimmer and more flexible lol.I know I'm in for a long haul but these differences make me so more positive.I decided that I would still have my treat of wine on a Sat night but allthough I have it in fridge I'm not sure I want to open it.
Keep up the good work.I read everyday and you give me alot of inspiration.
Thanks to you alllost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013

Hi all.
Went out to M&S to get some new jogging bottoms and got myself a cropped pair in a size 14! Couldn't believe it so I measured my waist when I got home and I've lost two inches in two weeks. Mollymop I know what you mean about your fingers - me too and my watch is loose on my wrist too. I know I counldn't have managed to lose the weight if I didn't join this group. I usually have no willpower but I keep Wednesday's weigh in in mind!I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0
