Hi guys, sorry not been about much but life has been a little hectic (and not due to be less hectic this week either!!)

Congrats on some fab weight losses, and I'm tired just reading about some of the exercise you're all doing.

On the subject of exercise, I ahd a letter back from teh gym manager this week after writing to him letting him know what I thought of my induction session. He has offered me a free personal training session with a fully documented routine and an update after the first month, and also has said he will waive the joining fee for my other half when he joins! so that's a bit saved.

On the weight loss front this week - I didn't!! Please can you put me down for 2lb gain! am unsure where or why this has happened as haven't been too bad but will be analysing a food diary this week to ensure that I'm not having more than I think. Hopefully it will be onwards and downwards again for me this week.

I bit the bullet this week as well and have decided to attend the rosemary conley roadshow not the cheapest but apparently a good day out plus I'm gonna have a trot down on to the seafront at Hastings afterwards.
    Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j

Fab result there Tagz with the gym bottoms :D Just wondering if you have a target dress size?

On the topic of wii fit - question for anyone - you know how you are supposed to put your 'off-wii activities' in the activity log? I'd like to know how you go back and put in previous date ones, because I've only just found this facility :o

Hi Missy! I have set myself a target of getting into a size 12 by Christmas. By this rate I think I should get there. My real target though is to be as fit as I can for my scan in Aug. If I get any bad news I want to be in the best shape poss already.

About the wii fit. I just get on and use the training don't know how to log off-wii activities even for that day. How do you do that?

Ajax - glad you're back! Thanks for all the miis! My son has three friends round at the mo and I reluctantly let them play Wii Sports. Well I am now officially a 'cool' mum! I showed them my (your) collection of miis and they were 'well impressed'. I AM young I AM young!
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

    Hi Ajax and welcome back.

What about scrambled eggs, grilled bacon ... if you have time to cook in the morning. I can't imagine how anyone ever does.

Otherwise chopped up fruit with yogurt or cottge cheese or something like quark. If you chop it up and put the yogurt over it the night before it's ok(ish) in the morning.

    Hey everyone.

Thanks for the advice and hugs. I think my emotions were inflated slightly due to hormones at the time, its alot better now! I think i was just noticing the bad things. My mum does have my disabled father to care for aswell as having 2 children and my boyfriend at home at the age of 61 this year so perhaps im just being a bit selfish. Im feeling a lot more perky now!

I went with my Brother to his works ball last night. They had dogems, as much wine as you wanted, a glass of champagne, a huge marquee (sp?) 3 course meal, a live band (they were wicked) a disco and DOGEMS!!! The best thing is, that it was completely free for everyone! Cost £35,000 in all. Now thats a nice company to work for! Trouble is we had to get there for 7ish, i didnt finish work till quarter past 6 so i had to rush rush rush! It was a fab night though.

This morning i had to get up at 6am to get to work again. First day on my own was ok! Didnt get stuck. The only problem was the language barrier! They were all sprekkin de deuch or whatever it is!!

Ajax: Thanks for the miis! Love them! Took me awhile to work out what you were on about but i found them in the end. Hope you had a good holiday :)

Granny: Oh no, does that mean ive only got 8 more years before im "getting on a bit" :P

Right im off folkies, hope all is well with you all :)

...hi nise. Can't do the bacon thing here - I'm veggie. Quorn do a bacon substitute which is on offer at Tesco at the moment but I wanna see how many syns it is first. Just need a p-word to see if I can log on and find out first :D

LOL tagz, you "is down wit da youf" !

Missy, the week was excellent thanks. Rain struck Thursday morning but it was blazing hot until then. Poor Bailey tired himself out on the beach three times and slept the entire rest of the week, or so it seemed.

Well, I'm happy to report a STS this week (okay it was actually 0.2lb gain - but I only work in full pounds). If I put on a mere 0.1lb in the next week, I will have to report a 1lb gain as it will push me up to the next full lb.

I've just got to the end of my 12 week Rosemary Conley Diet & Fitness Journal, I started these back in September last year. As I have been trying to maintain for the whole of this Journal I thought I would analyse my figures.

Over the course of the 12 weeks (March - May) I have lost 3.6lbs at an average of 1701 calories per day. Using the 3500cals = 1lb, that would make my calorie requirement to STS 1850 cals per day.

I did the same analysis for the other 2 journals Sept - Nov, 17lb loss, average 1215 cals per day, 1925 cal if I had wanted to STS.

For Dec - Feb, 9lb loss, average 1455 cals per day, 1830 if I had wanted to STS.

Assuming my figures are more or less correct, I need to average 1850 cals per day to STS. If I were to consume the 2000 cals per day guideline, I estimate that in a year I would put on 15.6 lbs, ie more than a stone

    FFM :)

Cool well done on STS FFM! Is working in full pounds a RC thing? 1850 cals to STS seems good to me for a smaller than average person. I thought the 2000 was a guideline for an "average" female (which I believe to be about 5 feet 6 inches and size 14?), with average activity levels? So if you are smaller you need to reduce that accordingly. There's no way the 2000 can apply to every female - I'd put on weight with just one day of that :rotfl:

Jules - seems like a good result with the gym, are you happy with that?

Tagz, if you go into your graphs, I think it's the last graph that has a button saying "activity log" and you have the option to put your extra exercise in there. Can't see a way of backdating stuff which is a bit annoying cos if I'm away from the wii, I'd still like to log that I'm doing something. Maybe someone will be able to enlighten us. How are you finding the wii fit generally?

Missyg, working in full pounds is a FFM thing to do, maybe now that I am trying to STS, 0.1 pounds is now reasonable  . Thinking about it, my scales only read to 0.2lbs, so I will never just put on 0.1lb.

Ah I see ;) I work in 0.25lbs as that's what my scales read. I'd get in a muddle if I tried to round up and down (and it would make some weeks look worse than they really are - can't have that!)

How's your weekend been? Everything OK with you?
