just noticed you do 2 or 3 washloads every day, and there are only 3 of you

I have a rule that if it isn't dirty (or smelly) it can be worn twice, and this does cut down on the washing,

:j Hi all ! I'm just waiting for my first pizza to cook made with my new bread maker! I'm a bit under the weather today, got a nasty head cold _pale_ but have managed to make chocolate covered flapjacks for lunchboxes.just have to keep my hands off them!!

If I feel a bit better later I'm off to my tap class to practise for a show we're doing in aid of the Samaritans soon
catch you all later ! ;)

oh my god! Just got my chicken out of the slow cooker and it tastes delicious! First time ive ever cooked a chicken myself and first time ive had slow-cooked chicken.

It literally fell off the bones.. (which was not soo good when i was like "ewww chicken vertrebra!" when i was trying to sort it all into edible non-edible :rotfl: Ok im still a bit wimpy but i'll get there!) and because it did come off the bone the way it did ive got loads and loads of meat! i think ive got at least 4 or 5 meals worth out of one £1.98 chicken! Tonights menu is chicken, jacket potato and broccili. :j

I think im going to become a slow-cooker addict :o
  • Hi Guys

    Not a good or a bad here..lol.

I normally do 2 washloads a day and yes theres only 3 of us :o I do only wash when dirty and do the sniff test etc-specially on dd's clothes. I have personal accidents some days/nights :o which means somedays I need to change clothing/bedding more than i would normally do..IYKWIM...sorry-too much info!! On a good week-I can get away with 1 load a day :D but more often than not its 2. I wash all darks now on a 30c-which i didnt know I even had on my WM. Whites on a 50c and colours on a 40c....is this ok? I do only put a load on when machine is full unless its necessarry. Normally use quickwash too, which takes about 50mins. Is all dried on line weather permitting...i try my best ;)

Watched the end of Schindlers list today...and has to be one of the best films ive ever watched.

Had me bloods done this morning and have had to increase the warfarin as my blood has thickened again and dont want another blood clot  back again in 2 weeks. Always seem to be at the bloomin hospital.

Might try and pop back in later. Have cleaner coming in morning. OH has to make bed up as all was washed today-its super king and takes ages to do it.

    Anyways, see you later.

    PP

Had a quiet day as feeling sick and headachey so just pottered about.

Did washing and put on line and hoovered around as I had not done it for ages.

Bought birthday present for DD to give to friend.

Did not feel up to cooking so DH had leftover home made curry with nan bread, DDs had leftover pasta in cream sauce and really enjoyed it.

Hope they never find out that my creamy sauce is chicken soup;)

Feel a bit better now so browsing on here.

We had someone to look round the house earlier. She'd been living in the USA for 4 years and didn't have a clue about sorting out bills and stuff and switching suppliers. Pointed her in this direction................................. :D
