Hi everybody!!
Not done anything today! Put the washing out and then brought it in again when it started to rain!
want to do some dusting and hoovering in a bit! Got totally sidetracked by my addiction to this forum! Been looking at the #no waste like home" thread and wandered onto the Omlet site which sell Vexpensive rabbit and chicken homes... which I totally want now!
will be devastated when OH points out that quite reasonably we cant spend about 300 quid on some chickens or a Rabbit hutch and run!:Doooh look only about 220 posts and I got round to doing my Avatar already!!0 -
Hi.
Had a lovely lunch with friend, gorgeous fish pie with new potatoes, carrots, swede and peas, followed by yummy HUGE slice of baked cheesecake with cream and coffee!
Had a lovely late birthday treat! She had bought my birthday gift along too, (scented candles) so it really felt like my birthday (although my birthday was actually in May!)
Looked at loads of old photos and had a good gossip. If anyone is in Birmingham I can recommend the resturaunt at the museum and art gallery, its lovely.
Managed to grab a great Xmas pressie for one daughter which I know she will love, in Hawkins Bazaar which has just opened, so I will have to go back there when I have more time and stock up on other stocking fillers. I wanted to go to the bank but I went to the two branches which were listed in the current phone book and both were closed down, (Natwest) so once I had hotfooted it back home on the train to collect DD1 from school I had to make another journey to the bank, just made it before it closed, but they have not given me the correct amount of money. (Only £3.60 short - as I am catching the bus to work at the moment I usually draw the months worth of fares in the right change) The cashier forgot the 10p's, but Ive had to raid my change jars for now and will have to ring the bank later. Im trying to save all my change for annual family pass for the National Trust but Im not doing so well as it gets raided for school juice money and bus fares. Last year I saved £60 over the year which I used to buy a 6 foot Xmas tree and loads of lovely decorations from Matalan.
Have a nice weekend all.0
