    Morning All,

Things not so peachy at ours today either, baby DD has woken up with an eye infection, its all swollen and cant get an apt with doc till 12.30  Poor baby is sobbing.

I've managed to put one load of washing on the line with her balanced on one hip and the washing up is done so at least I've made a start.

Hubby is off work for a few days so he has taken DD1 to school, which means I'm still in my jammies!!! Lucky me.

Off to bathe babies eye in warm salt water and then time for a bottle I think - her not me!

    See you,
    Al.

    Good morning all,

Feeling much better today - still a little snotty but everything else is fine. Working all day, little one currently asleep after being worn out at the play centre - she had me sliding down the curly slides with her...... :D I sometimes really love my job!!

Last nights beef stew thingy turned out lovely - we had it with large yorkshire puddings, plenty left so heated it up this morning to put in food flasks for everyone for lunch. Going to make up a huge bolognase later, should be enough for tea tonight, a stomboli on friday and spiced up to go on a pizza on saturday night, not bad from a 97p pack of mince with all the left over veg in the fridge.

Got tomorrow and friday off, will seem like bliss, got to get busy making stuff for the craft fair I want to do in November, I've got so much fabric to use up, thought I might make a couple of "quillow's!" (lap quilts you turn in side a bit on the back to form a pillow - got the idea off here earlier in the year) got a couple of sections of duvet left from when I made mine so hopefully they should be a novel selling idea. Going to make some lavender and wheat bags, some lavender teddy bears, some lavender bags (can you tell i've got a lot of lavender??) A couple of quillows and lots of cards. My Mum is knitting like a thing possessed to add some different bits to the stall and a friend has made about 200 bookmarks.....do you think that's enough to draw people to the stall??? DD also wants to make some "scoobi" keyrings up, she want's in on the money!!

Need to go get BM going before little one wakes up and get lunch ready for another little one that will join us at 1pm....then it's off the park for a swing and slide before the school run, then things just go to pot untill everyone goes home!

    Have a good one all.

  • Hi all,
Took DD to her music and movement group which she loved! Went into Budgens and got myself a (reduced) sandwich, and one of those Quality Street green triangle things (a big one though). Just got home and scoffed them both!! Lol!

Will do cleaning and washing etc and then get ready to get DS1 & 2 from school.

    Byeee!!

It's my daughters 11th birthday today so we all got up extra early to have time to open her presents. Some of my ebay auctions are ending today so I will have to keep an eye on that.

After school I am taking both my daughters to Brewer's Fayre for a meal (with half price voucher in hand).

A newbie here. hope everyones well and those that aren't are feeling better.
    I'm a mum to three a 6yo dd, 2 yo dd and a 4 week old ds.
had a good morning got dd1 to school and have been shopping, managed to knock £15 off mu usual shopping bil this week.
terries are in the washer anf the washing up is soaking as ds decided he wanted some more milk, hence why there also a few mistakes as typing with one hand is an art. ;)
have to pickmy lil brother from school as mum has taken my lil sis for a hospital appointment to check her heart. have a long list of chores that need doing, I am lucky to get the washing up finished at the momment, so gonna try and tick off a few things on the list :o might succumb to giving ds a dummy as he is always compfort feeding.

    have a good day

Got up about 1pm.. :o only thing i hate about OH staying he doesnt get in till gone midnight and so we dont go to bed till 4-5amish which means a late start to the next day  Got him off to work- its like having a child to look after.. "have u got everything?" "dont forget.." "tuck your shirt in!" etc etc :rotfl:

When hed gone walked into the kicthen and groaned when remembered i didnt clean up after making our tea and as we had 2 diff meals there is dishes everywhere... and the living room is full of stuff too so gotta clean that in a min

Horrible day outside so think its gonna be a day of sorting my desk out and filing my mountain of papers. Then finish my tesco.com shop (sites down at the mo  ) and pricing up some stuff on ikea and ebay. Realised yesterday the place lacks character. Been here over a month now and got no pictures up or anything.. just cream walls everywhere - and its all the same wallpaper too.. looks like rice pudding! :rotfl: (Even in the kitchen and bathroom  ) Want a bit of colour and personality but im not allowed to decorate :(

Dont know whats for tea.. have to have a look and see what i have in the cupboards/freezer. Then might watch a dvd or 2 (free rentals ;) ) and an early night as OH is going home to his mums tonight from work! :j :rotfl:
  • Hi

Feeling abit better after taking some strong pain killers :D

Anyways, 2 washloads have been done and dried outside. Downstairs tidied by OH. Made a really cheap chilli for lunch with a baked spud:

    1/2bag of mince lamb (59p)
    Tin Cheap Beans (13p)
    Tin Cheap Kidney Beans (13p)
    Tin Cheap Toms blended (11p)
    teaspoon chilli powder (5p)

Total £1.01 have made enough for lunch with jacket spuds and about 3 large portions left to freeze ;)

Have quite abit of left over chicken from yesterday-so will do a chicken curry later me thinks..lol and maybe enough for a pie friday...or i may freeze

Watching Lost episode 1 of series 2 later-downloaded it and cant wait. DD has homework, an 11+ test paper, bath and dinner first then we'll sit and watch it together.

    Take care all

  • Had a bit of luck money-wise at ToysRus today. :) Went to collect both bikes and decided to sit DS2 on the various bikes to see which one was best size-wise etc, but all he wanted to do was play on the 3-wheeled Bob The Builder scooter - we have one and it's his fave toy (was his brother's so lots of value for money :D) In the end, he decided he liked the bigger 2 wheeled scooters the best and I bought him one - £20 :D Bargain - I was expecting to fork out up to £70 for a bike.

So, we'll all be happy on Xmas day.

went to Aldi and bought lots of fruit, then Tesco for milk/yog and sausages from the butcher (we're not having chicken for tea:)). At the end of this month, I will have spent just over £200 on food (including some booze) so I'm well chuffed as we eat really well and I provide at least 14 teenager or kids meals extra each week . I reckoned on LOADS more than that. However, will have to balance it out over 2 or 3 months as have been eating stuff from the freezer so I can restock before Xmas.

Off to rescue to remans of the fruity loaf off the hoards that have invaded my kitchen and will be GF'ing my sos shortly.

Afternoon all. Poor DD2 is still poorly, which is a drain on us all as she just wants to be held all day. Did manage toget out to the shops this pm though as DD1 needed some cheap and cheerfull playschool clothes. Found some lovely purple jeans reduced from £4.00 to £1.00!!! She will be wearing them every day as I got 3 pairs :D:D:D BARGAIN

Have a driving lesson (VERY VERY VERY BL***Y EXPENSIVE  ) at 5.30 so am off to do the tea early. If I dont feed the kids before going out OH will send them to bed with only milk, MEN :wall:

It will be my first lesson driving in the rain so wishme luck!

    Night all.
