Hello everyone
Hope everyone has a good day. I was allowed the luxury of a lie-in today - it was 6.40 before DS1 came inI'm breakfasted, as are boys and I've wasted 1/2 hr playing stoopid online puzzle games as when I tired to get on here earlier, couldn't !!
DS1 has a party to go to today, so will be wrapping pressie in a moment. Mr TM can take both boys as I'm going to mum's again today. She wants to see what I'm wearing on Monday and I need someone to pin my trousers up properly so I can shorten them.
Other than that, not much OSing. Breadmaker has produced a lovely well risen loaf so the house smells good.:) Don't know what's for tea. I bought some lovely cubed steak yesterday so may put it in the slow cooker - then again, who knows.
Off for my shower now, I'll catch you all later. Oh, and Jo, have you looked in your local papers? They often have decent, reasonably priced furniture, which may do yo for now.
TM
ps - scrub that bit about nice smelling house, DS2 is standing next to me now, so it's off with that nappy0 -
Hello all,
Jo, great news about your flat. Hope you're happy there. Even if you're not sure who your gas and elec suppliers are make sure you go to the meters now and write down the readings (and keep safe for future reference). Then decide who you want to supply you and ring them. They may well be the same ones the old people had in which case just give them the meter readings. If you get any letters/ bills for previous occupants for gas or elec just say what date you moved in and you won't be liable for them.
Well, its been raining bucketloads here this morning. Last night I babysat so earned £20, will help for the holiday
Today have to go to post office to get Turkish lira. We are flying to Turkey on Friday so I need to get everything in order before then. Will hopefully wash clothes during week if weather is better.
Must have a shower soon, and OH has promised to trim my hair after so saves hairdressers fees.
I really ought to hoover round the house but feeling too lazy...
Good news- OH said yesterday he has a plumber coming tomorrow to look at putting the new shower in. Since the start of June the bathroom has been work in progress and driving me mad, now there's light at the end of the tunnel
Have a good day, Sarah.Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0 -

 Morning all
Jo - I used a Kim and Aggie trick for deodorising our mattress and duvet: sprinkle bicarb onto the surface, rub it in a little bit, leave for a couple of hours then vacuum off. Seems to have worked and we're smelling a bit fresher!
Well, OH has just prised himself out of bed. I've been up for a good 1hr30mins, had a bath and breakfast. We don't have any milk in the house (shopping day is today), so we couldn't have a cuppa first thing.
I've just made my friend's wedding card - well, stuck a topper on a blank card. He's getting married today and we're going along to the evening do tonight. I'm looking forward to a bit of cheesy disco dancing. I didn't dare write in the card "you realise that you share your wedding day with Jordan and Peter Andre". Enough to put you off for life!
Well, I imagine OH will be wanting to go shopping soon - we've got loads of extra points coupons on things that we actually need! And it's also the local Farmers' Market today.......... yum, yum.

Morning all, great news on the flat Jo, I hope you are very happy there
I woke up at 7 this morning, only four mornings of doing this and I am already well trained LOL. Decided to have a lie in as DS didn't have to be at his cycle club till 10.30 so I eventually got up at 9I've already put away the clean clothes and sorted out what we are having for tea, I just have to tidy the kids room, vacuum through and clean the kitchen floor and I am ready for the viewer at 3. DH is even more ready to take the house off the market as he has to get up at 2 so I can tidy the bedroom and then he's got to try and get back to sleep as he has another night shift tonight.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Sorry about last night everyone
I had a call back from one of the NHSDirect nurses and she advised I call out a doctor to check me over so I called the out of hours duty team and they said they'd get a doctor to call me back but I fell asleep before the call came through
I must have been absolutely exhausted as I slept right through till about an hour ago! Feeling much better this morning so will see how things go
Thanks for all your help though :A"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
