Hi........ 'Primus option 2 free calls W/E & Evening' seems a good idea not wanting to get into any contract with BT !
Just wanted to know was it easy to set up & what details were required when you rang them? Also will it affect making calls at other times with BT?

Easy to setup, just ring them.
BUT, make sure you keep line rental with BT and be specific about "Primus Saver Option 2"

You can jump back to make calls on BT anytime you like so long as you keep the BT line rental.
1280 - then the number you are calling.
Quite a few of us use an orchid to acccess other providers like BT or 18185:
Orchid Dialler Discount
And we use the Heinz program:

Just one phone call - it'll be operational 10 to 15 days later.

I believe name, address, postcode, phone number, bank account details (for the direct debit) and email address (for online billing) are all they need.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

I'm confused! How come they need bank details and email address for online billing if it's free?0 -
It's only free evening and weekend calls.
Any other time you pay for, but most of us switch to another provider for other calls.
Apart from when I first joined Primus my normall bill with them is less than 0.50p.0 -
System lag caused double post.0

Just followed advice in weekly email & signed up to Primus Saver 2.
However, I am now concerned, it was all very easy, no pushiness or anything but on completion I was told I would receive a rather 'cheeky' letter in a few weeks! Whats all that about?!? Also, just followed the link to my account from there email, signed in & got this..............

Am I right to be concerned? Anybody else had this????
I've just given them bank details, etc!!!
Any help or advice would be appreciated!
