Primus Option 2 ?

My bills with Primus are like Britbrats, pennies most months. Was over a fiver last month due to calling a premium rate number, no alternative, despite looking on internet for an alternative. Never had a bill more than that though. Smallest was like 3p or something, most over a fiver. I use 18185/1899 etc for my calls during the day, only a few pounds ever couple of months with them.

just seem to be standard calls to local numbers on an evening, havent used 1471 for ages, keep forgetting about it, so wouldnt expect the charged to be for that

DD - Direct Debit.

You don't need Sky Talk to get the 'free' Sky broadband, you only need Sky TV. Both 'free' broadband and 'free' Sky Talk are optional, you can have one or the other or both or none at all and either or both are 'free' as long as you are a Sky TV customer.

This is why most people take Sky TV and the 'free' broadband, but take Primus Saver 2 instead.

However as said before it's entirely up to you how much you want to save money or not.

Yes, which is why I've gone for that option, as I've already got Sky TV & free or 'free' as you call it broadband. It is free for me because I would never ditch the Sky TV bit, so I'm getting broadband for free.

Let's call it a day, eh? I haven't got time to talk about it any more and I'm sure other people are bored now too!:rolleyes:

If you choose CPS like Primus and do not use BT for call they will charge you £2.55 a quarter for 1571. If you make six calls via BT they will waive the charge.

A prefix of 1280 will route a call back through BT.

Does anyone know if BT actually tod anyone. Are six free calls OK?

Yes, they did ages ago.

Now, however, inclusive UK 01/02/03 calls of up to an hour available to everyone at the weekend count as 'qualifying calls' for Caller Display and 1571 (but please don't use 1571) so most people just make their weekend calls via BT.

Hi Heinz. Can I assume from this that calls to "Sky 0845 and 0870" numbers are cheap or even free to Sky Talk subscribers? I have had a browse through the Sky Talk Tariff Guide here but can't see any reference to these "Sky" calls.

I have an interest in this as a family member has moved to Sky Talk CPS against my my advice :mad: and thus lost the benefit daytime calls (of which there are many) between us which were free on Talk Talk CPS. One of the claimed benfits to them is that they will save on cost of calls to some Sky Service numbers (betting services I believe).
