Hi
Just try and see that 3 weeks as a small "investment" in time that might reap large "dividends". 3 weeks isnt that long in the context of an estimated 30 odd years of life still to go.
Do try please to stay strong. I think staying away from him for that 3 weeks is your last best chance to sort this out.0 -
good on u, now it's just wait & see I guess, hope it all works out for you.Who says I have to be normal?0

Hi to all of you who are out there and watching this space, its good to have you all there helping me through this, i really appreciate it.
The staying away from him advice is hard to take, I think he would be really offended if i suggested that to him and think it was a kind of punishment, so I'm not going to do that, will sit tight and wait for my investment to come to fruiition, i may end up regretting this I know but its a chance I will take.
I'm also waiting to find out if I got the job I went for an interview for on
Wednesday, they said they'd let me know by the end of the week, I hate this limbo business, also can anyone tell me anything about 'Psycometric Tests'? I had one of those to fill in too, was told there are no right or wrong answers, but what does it tell the company about you?
Its my first full time 'Proper Job' since my marriage broke down, have been doing part time in the mean time, but cant keep up with a 15 year old daughter on part time wages  .
Will post if I hear anything, everything crossed,

Great news - well done you :T
Psychometric testing helps a company to identify a prospective employees strengths and weaknesses, what kind of personality they have - eg a backroom boffin or a front of the house smiler.
My fingers are crossed for you......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Caroleann, yeah!!! Second interview - great news:D As for staying away from BF for 3 weeks...life's too short for games IMVHO. Anyway, how he behaves over the next few weeks will be illuminating and by your own behaviour you can demonstrate to him that you mean business. I don't mean withholding duties or any such, we girls can be much more subtle than that. Just let him know you are shifting the focus a little - men can be dumb but eventually they get it lol.
I would open the agenda about why you never meet his family etc and insist that he should be proud of having you. You are clearly a really capable, independent woman and a much better communicator than he is so let him be aware of what a catch you are.
Good luck with the job and have a great weekend. If we all lived a little closer we could have a 'sorting out Caroleann's maritals' weekend -suspect we still may lol.

Hi Hayles,
Wouldn't that be a fab night out!!!!! Newcastle is renowned for its nightlife and friendly Geordies, maybe one day it could all happen, have room to sleep a few here...... Just need to send Mike packing for the weekend too!!
Thanks for your kind comments, they are really boosting me up, YOUR'E ALL WONDERFUL WOMEN.
Must have done OK on the psycometric test as I've been asked back to let the MD check me out, hadn't ever done one before, bit wierd but HEY HO, another step along life's highway, hope they tell me asap, its such a nice environment to work in and the people were so friendly and positive, also very near home so less travelling and petrol and MORE MONEY!!!!!:j :j
Lets hope I'll be celebrating on Wed:beer: .
Keep in touch,
Carole xxxx0
