Its all getting a bit nasty now, blackmailing and lying, he plays good cop bad cop with me a lot, he's on to the good cop now as I'm not responding to him,
He'll be bored and wanting his you know what! also knowing I'm going out tonight without him will not be going down well!!!!:D

Good cop, bad cop - that sounds like common or garden manipulation to me.
I'm not suggesting that you cool it, but perhaps you not being interested in any 'indoor games' for 2 or 3 weeks might reveal something. If he loves you it won't matter, if it does matter...........bit of a problem.

follow JIMSMUM advice ,this all seems to be going your way at the moment ,keep the pressure on him ,and something will come out. Enjoy your night out,you have to get this right ,I have seen too many friends (and me)hurt by people like him,its like tunnel vision sometimes.

I like it, just got back in, its lovely out there now, sent him a text saying 'Just contemplating what to say/do, blackmail is a strong term'
