  • I again called O2 and spoke to a nice lady and told her that I was not happy with the deal as I could have brought a Nokia 6300 for < £80, so I was not happy with my existing deal of £20 a month. As even if I had accepted the money back I would have saved £20....

So the lady put me on hold and said she would take another £5 off per month...so I am happy with my deal now ;)

    £15 a month for 500 mins/ 100 text
    12 month contract and a nokia 6300...

    :D
  • I upgraded today, switched to an 18 month contract, £20 per month for 750 x-net minutes + 750 texts for £20 per month, maybe not as good as some others but suits me perfectly!!

    Hi
I just phoned 202 from my mobile and pressed the number to cancel my contract!

when I refused the first offer she made me, she 'went away to see what she could do' then came back with the one above!

Good luck, let us know how you get on

  • I ended up after talking to retentions with a new SE k850 750 mins/ 100 txt (although I will probably only use 7), free calls to o2 numbers, 1 mb browsing on 18 month contract for £20/month.
I didn't even push for this. Far better than my very first offer of 500 mins for £30/month. It certainly pays to talk.

Just called as my contract was up. I was previously on...
    Online 500 - 12 months
    - 500 rollover mins
    - 900 texts
    - £20

    I am now on...
    Online 30 Texter - 18 months
    - 400 mins (FREE O2 to O2)
    - 1000 texts
    - FREE Sony Ericsson k850i
    - £20

This was the phone that I wanted but not for this length of contract. I also bought the data add-on for £7.50. Not sure if I am going to stick with it. I have only had 12 month contracts and 18 seems like a long time.
  • Hi I am under Car Phone Warehouse o2. My contract with o2 finishes in 16 days.

I have received emails and phone calls from o2? after reading this site I do not know which has been in contact with me o2 direct or CPW 02.
Although I am with CPW, Is there a difference in o2 retentions compared with CPW retentions?
If there is which is the best one for me to contact?

I would advise everyone to try and push for just a 12 month contract- unless you are going to go for a N95 O2 can easily afford to upgrade your phone every year.
