I've just rang retentions and been offered the following:

    Discount 500

    500 mins x net
    1000 texts
    £100 credit
    no phone
    12 month contract

All for £25 per month, works out at £16.67 a month with credit
    If I wanted a handset (Nokia e65, 6300, se w610i, k800i)
    I wouldn't get the credit
If I wanted the nokia n95 it would cost £199.00 and my texts would drop to 400 a month.

I already have a samsung U600 but I would really like the n95 as a second phone, if I look at ebay the n95 is selling for more than £199.00

Has anyone seen any better deals? The retentions guy wouldn't budge on £25 per month even if I dropped the amount of texts.

Does anyone know what the 02 number is to ring for my PAC? I don't have any credit on my 02 sim so can't ring directly from the phone, and i don't really want to put credit on due to buying a contract from 3.

Thanks. Getting myself a sim free P1, so will probably go for this and sell the 580 to offset that cost and use the good t-mobile data bolt on with this. Happy days.
  • After send off my cancellation later to O2, I've offered two deals to keep my line active:

    1. 25 anytime any network + 25 msg per month

    OR

    2. 600 off-peak mins to O2/Landline

These two deals are free of charge ( O2 will credit to my account to pay off the rental).
I don't know which one should I pick, deal 1 is convenient, but, with 25 mins and 25 txt, I guess that's not really enough for me.
    Any good suggestions?

Just wondering if i stand a chance:

Basically trying to cut my phone down majorly as i've just bought a house and dont need these minutes anymore:

I am with O2 pay £50.00 month with 1000 free texts, 2000 weekend minutes and 1000 any network anytime minutes. I didnt mind paying as my partner lives away from me and so we easily used them. BUT we have just bought a house and so i dont need them anymore and i am wondering if i can cut down.

Been with o2 for 5 years now and they have always been really good to me, i upgraded my phone 4 months ago and so when i e-mailed them to see if i could help they said they cant do anything until after January 2008. Is it worth giving them a ring? as really need the money.

    Thanks
