So you got N95 Free, 400mins/1000txts for £30/mth for 12 Mths. That is a brilliant deal. Can you please tell me the number you rang.

O2 have offered me 600 X network mins, 1000 texts and free calls to any land line or mobile on a Sat, Sun, and Monday for £35 including vat. Also offered a blue tooth head set for free and most phones seem to be available for free.

    Any good do you think?
    Thanks

Hello, following on from earlier in the thread, I'm thinking of ringing the number above and straight out asking for my PAC code with a deal in mind. Can someone tell me what happens if they say ok and send me out my PAC code? Does my contract end? Can I just ignore it and request it again in a month? Will I lose my number.

I did that, they then asked me why and I made up the deal, fwiw I said that I was in town and Orange have offered

    free n95
    600 mins
    750 texts
    12 month contract
    free memory card
    £30 per month

they'll then come back and beat that :D

    Hello everyone,

Just had a call from Kate from O2 customer relations in response to the email sent to Peter Erskine about 3 weeks back. After waiting for so long I thought they wont reply to my email and have just given my pac code yesterday to an o2 payg sim card and my port over date will be done in a week. Don’t know what to do in this situation. Also how and what should I saying to the customer relations team in order to get the deal which I want i.e. an n95 free on a 12 month contract. I had sent an email which detailed the poor customer service received by me along with problems having to pay high data charges. Any suggestions welcome. I am going to call the girl by the end of the day.

Just do what I did as above, or make an offer up of your own and see if they match it. Guy I spoke to was sound.

Ok. Thanks. However just theoretically say they did end up sending me my PAC code what does that mean, does that mean my contract is ended at the end of the month or can I just carry on as if they never did? After recieving it could I then use it with O2 again?

THey won't want to lose you, which is why they'll ask why you want to leave :)

Hi there - after another call, the (seemingly) ‘best’ 12-month contract I was offered was:
    02 500 - 500 mins and 100 SMS with Free Motorola RIZR Z8
£30.00 per month – (which included a £5 off line rental for 12 months)

Apparently any lower O2 would be “paying me to be a customer” – according to the woman I spoke to.

My current tariff (soon to expire) is/was 02 500 for £20 / month (£15 off line rental).

Do I give up and go with this?
