where did you hear of this as o2 are denying they do this data bundle?Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
Its my understanding that you can upgrade after 12 months unless they have changed this in the terms and conditions lately.
I was in the local o2 shop this weekend, checking when the 12 months date since my last handset was - and the guy before me doing the same was told he had to wait a while, as he had an 18 month contract - so couldn't change handsets until the end of that 18 month contract.
It seems logical that this would apply to everyone - as otherwise you in theory could get 2 handsets inside an 18 month contract (1 at start, 1 at 12 months, and then still be able to change contract at 18 months - with perhaps yet another handset). And after all, the contracts are longer to make more money out of you per change, not less.
So basically - new handset & new contract are tied together.0 -
Just phoned to upgrade my phone - last year i was on 12 months, 500 mins 500 texts for £20 a month. I wanted a new phone ideally but the best offer they gave me was to have the same contract (500 mins / 500 texts) with £100 bill credit but no new phone. This is for 12 months so my monthly bill is now £11.66 a month. Not bad really!!

£35 per month with O2 would give you:
600 Anytime X Net Mins
1000 Texts
Free Calls or Texts Sat/Sun/Mon or Free Unlimited O2-O2 Calls
They would also apply a 20% loyalty discount to the price if you were speaking to Retentions, so £28.00 per month
How can I get this?? I was told by the person in retentions this was £40/month for 18 month and £35 for 24 month contract?!0 -

Called today (contract's up at the end of the month) and was offered:
Without new handset
Me: 250/100 for £30 pm - £100 + £75 credit on account = £15.32 pm
Wife: 200/400 for £20 pm + £75 credit on account = £13.75 pm
With handsets we wanted
Me: Samsung D900i - 250/100 for £30 pm - 20% = £24.00 pm
Wife: Samsung U600 - 200/400 for £30 pm - £30 (£10 x 3 months) = £27.50 pm
We are both currently on a 250/100 deal with 100% cashback via Mobileshop (all received so far) so I can't say I'm that impressed with what was offered this time around...0 -
My monthly bills had been coming in at around £50 with a tariff of about £30.
I have already signed another contract but I was offered a deal to "keep the line active" of £30 for the WHOLE YEAR, without cashbacks, if I kept my old LG Chocolate. With this I got 250 Xnet minutes and 50 free texts per month.
Not bad at all for a spare...0 -
