Received a phone call from O2 High Level Customer Relations today, they apologised, offered me my original tariff of 500mins/400 txts for £15 p/m n a £30 credit (still had to keep the E50 they sent me). As tempted as I was to stay I declined, was disappointed with the £30 they offered, it would have covered the costs in calling them and the errors on the account. Not much of an incentive.

I asked for my pac code, and was told "whats the point in that?" which was surprising! Anyway eventually they said they would only give it me once they received the E50 back.

As much as I liked O2 I think its time for me to give Three a go, value for money I think O2 just arn't doing enough with their own 3G networks.

well i'm leaving THree, it's rubbish, per minute charge even if your call is 20 seconds, got accused of water damage twice, rubbish service, i'm afraid.
    save me money not time
  • Im on o2 at the moment and my contract expires in april, does anyone know when i should ring em for an upgrade or customer retentions.

Im currently on a deal that gives me 200 mins an 500 texts for £14.99 a month, but to be honest i dont use em all.

Ive been lookin around for a better deal, but unsurprisingly i havent found one as cheap as ive been with them for 2 years now.

Does anyone think ive got a chance of tariff reduction and/or a new phone?

I've just been told they can't discount line rental to below £20. Currently I'm on Online 100 (100 mins, 500 texts) for £25 with a £15 discount = £10pcm. I realise this was a blinding deal so I wouldn't mind paying another £5 for it - they only offered it for £20 though which it just isn't worth to me. I could happily do without some/most of the texts but they didn't seem to want to play ball - we didn't even get to talking about handsets. We ended the call saying my PAC code would be sent so I can port my number to their PAYG service. This would save me money, but I would like a new phone ideally and I prefer having a contract as I can keep track of what's going on with my account. They've been putting on erroneous roaming calls (I work abroad, but don't call using this phone) in the past few months which I've checked them up on - but obviously if they put ficticious calls on my PAYG account I won't be able to see this and I'll lose out.

Has anyone had a deal under £20 stick recently? I've been with them for just over 2 years on contract and at least 4 years before that on PAYG with the same number (several years before that on PAYG too, but they won't realise that as it was a different number/account.) Would be good to be able to phone them back and say I 'know' someone who was given such and such a deal and I'll stay with them if I can have it too... ;)

£15pm for 500xnet and 550text and nokia e50, sold on ebay for £160. 18 month contract, didnt want to go with a 18 month contract, but this offer was to good to decline. So for total of 18 months I will pay £110. So monthly is £6.11!
    Kind Regards

Hi there, hoping to get someone's opinion on the deal I've just been offered. Currently on Discount 500 @ £15 per month. Just spoke with O2 and mentioned 3s Direct talker 1000 plan for £17.50. They werent able to match that but offered 500mins/100 texts, SE K800i, 1GB memory card, 12 month contract @ £20 per month. Is this a good deal or should I push for better??

    Thanks
