Has anyone recently got say 200/250 minutes, just a few texts, for about £18? If they offered something like that I'd be a bit more interested.

Upgraded 2 handsets about a weeks ago:

    a) 250 minutes, 100 texts for £15...FREE D900
    b) 125 minutes, 100 texts for £10...FREE D900

    Both 12 month contracts.

They should be able to offer £15 discount off most tariffs...normally £30 for 250 minutes, 100 texts
  • I had a telephone call today off 02 ( i am with another phone company) and they basically offered me 200 mins, 500 texts and a samsung d900 for £25 a month, i would do it for daughter cos she is a text maniac! he is phoning me back after the weekend.,.
my question is- shall i be cheeky and ask for more texts? after all he is wanting me to sign up for 18 months.. daughter likes the d900 too which is a bonus
  • Yes of course you should its your business they want to keep!
i got 1150 texts for less than what you are paying.

  • I'm not sure if this is the case, but it did work for me, albeit at Christmas; if you feel you are not being offered a decent deal this time around, why not ask them to keep you on the same deal you are on now for another contract period?

Perhaps those of you due upgrades can attempt this method and report back on here how it turns out???

O2 are being really tight this year with me

last year i got my tarrif down to £10 per month but had to pay £60 for a samsung d600

this year they are doing this year £16 per month, keep the same phone and get £100 credit on my account, or they are offering a few phones for free, none of which i fancy

my tarriff is 500 mins and 500 text and 50 mobile mins

it was my first call, hopefully they can do better
