I joined because i notice rather a lot of misinformation being posted about O2 which believe it or not was filtering through and was being noticed by the agents

Good Statement Drew!
I do think that O2 should keep the guys and gals in the Retention Dept with that little bit of power to over rule a computer should it say the customer is not worth keeping as at the end of the day, maybe that individual customer is not a high spender but they then recommends there friends, family or work colleagues then O2 is going to get more customers as that one individual felt a valued customer and has passed on their recommendations to others.
I feel that you guys should be in charge and give the customers the deals not a computer!0 -
I was about to cancel my o2 contract as I was coming up to the end of a 12 months free line rental deal. Having read this thread I phoned o2 and have been offered 125 mins + 100 texts for £10 a month plus £100 cashback instead of upgrading the phone on a 12 month contract. This suits me perfectly and I'm really pleased I read this thread first before cancelling. Thank you!:T0

I was on the o2 £30 month tariff, I rang to see if I could get a better deal and I'm now on £15 a month for 250 mins and 500 texts. I asked for a new phone too and was sent one I didn't like so have sent it back. I really want the N73, I've been told it would cost £100 to me. Do you think its worth asking again or shall I take a not so good phone? The one I've got at the moment has video calling etc so I'd really like one with the same features, if not better.
Any tips gratefully received!0 -

£100 for the N73 is a standard price and i'd imagine they cannot offer it to you for any less than £100 because you are a low spend user. See what other phones they can offer you and either go into a phone shop or google reviews for them to decide on a handset0 -
I have just signed up to 02 on line. My phone hasn't arrived yet. I am getting 250 x net work minutes and 100 text for £25 a month. Would it be worth me calling during my 14 day calling off period to see if I can get a better deal? It's an 18 month contract.Over Draft £0
Christmas savings £50
Over payments this year £50
