just wondering...is it worth mentioning this site and the deals that other members have been offered?0 -

I don't know anyone else's views on this but I personally wouldn't. If you do, they can keep an eye on what we are saying/deals we are getting etc and maybe tighten up their procedures. i.e. we are saying fone up more than once and speak to someone else if possible. They might add more notes to screens to say that the customer called and was offered X, then they don't offer anything else.
I don't think it would hurt to say you are a member of a forum that talks about deals but I wouldn't say its a "money saving site" or give out the address.
Just my 2 pennies worth:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

When I phoned up for my sis last week I mentioned some deals I had seen on a forum and the person I was talking to demanded to know the name of it, I didn't like his tone so I refused to tell him and he actually got quite aggressive  I ended up putting the phone down on him and trying again. It took 3 attempts before I got the deal my sis wanted!
Just say a friend has been offered 'this deal' or you have been contacted by another network and been offered 'this deal'0 -
I have just been on the phone to them asking about the D900 upgrade, but I was told I could not have it because I had already upgraded and some Nokia phone was already on its way to me
.
I had phoned them up over the weekend asking about the SE K800i and some how they had took me saying I would not be paying £129.99 for it and I would have a look at what else is available and get back to them as me signing up to another 12months contract and having some Nokia phone I had nether mentioned.
I must say to the person’s credit he was very friendly and apologetic for the mistake. I stayed calm (don't you hate those people who get aggressive and rude) and got 100 minutes and 100 texts added to my tariff and it kept at the same price. So now I get 500mins and 100 texts for £20. The phone was going to be £100 too got it reduced to £50. I just have to send the Nokia phone back and then call them back for all the about where I should have a note on my account.
I have got to say I happy with this too because it is £60 cheaper over the year than the next best new tariff I could find plus it has 100 more minutes and I don’t have to worry about remembering sending of for the 3 different cash checks.0 -
Well I phoned O2 today as the mobile that I didn't order still hadn't arived. I was told that it was at the DHL wearhouse waiting for redelivery as it it had been missed, and while the block was looking at the despatch details he notice that it haddn't been posted to my address but to some stranges  . He got in contact with DHL and got them to send it back to them, but I have still got to wait for for them to receive it befor the phone I want can be dispatched.
EDIT:[FONT="]
I just got an email of my bill which is £30 more than I expected as I have be charged for phone, and after checking my account online it say that the dispatch address of the phone is correct. I don't know what to believe any more and have sent O2 an email so hopefully they will look into the matter more closely.

This sounds well dodgy to me - it smells like a scam I used to see in IT Etailer companies where something is sent to one of the customer service agents friends using a genuine customers details - so making it look like the customer had ordered it!!!!0 -
I was paying £20 a month last year for 200 minutes and 500 texts. Its renewal time so I inquired about upgrading to the K800i from a K750i and they said they wanted £179! She then said she could do it for £119 but that was still too much for an upgrade.
I phoned back and got £50 off the handset, so 69.99, and a continuation of 200/500 for £20 a month. By the sounds of it I could have got a little better on the tariff, but Im happy.0 -
I was told by O2 that they would credit my account by £100 instead of taking a handset upgrade.
I looked at my online account and it states "Promotional Credit Vatable Devices :17 Aug 2006: -85.10"
I was expecting £100. Before I call up to query, can anyone clairify if the -85.10 is correct due to VAT or something?0
