Thanks again for your reply Shelly, I just rang O2 CPW and I was told I could downgrade my tarriff to a cheaper one but I would lose any cashback offers I have, so the CS lady advised me to get my cashback offers and then lower my tarriff.

I was due to send off my 4th bill but completely forgot about it and then remembered that there was a 2 month expiry date, else any cashback offers are void. So I rang CS again and explained to the woman, she checked with Redemptions and said O2 don't have an expiry date now so I can still claim my cashback :)

So after claiming my cashback I can then lower my tarriff to a cheaper one, although id like a better deal lol

500 xnet mins and 100 sms for last 6 months

    £20 /month

    plus Samsung E900 for £29.99.

    Thanks.

    Hi

I got offered 800 texts and 500 x net anytime mins for 12 months for £20 per month with a free E900.

At the moment I can't decide whether to stick with E900 once back in stock or go for the Nokia N91.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi - I did try hard, but because the last 12 months on discount 500, my bill has only been £15 (in rental), I do not think they could offer me anything better and would have to pay a little for the phone.

Do you think I could get better, bearing in mind the above?

    Thanks.

I currently pay £15 line rental and on average my bill is £25 per month, with one month being as high as £80!

The first time I rang I was offered 750 x net and 750 texts for 18 months for £25 with free E900. I think you have to try a few times quoting "3's" better deals, it also depends on the retentions person you are speaking too. I never mentioned that I knew other people had been given better deals just in case they were funny about it.

Try again you may get a better deal.

Thanks, I have notes on my file (few offers, mainly poor) - so I tried the wanting my PAC (my anniversary date / 12 months is up tomorrow) .. and all they said was they could not offer better as my spend was low.

I will try tomorrow maybe (will the extra day make a difference I wonder?!). Anyway I do need more texts per month as 100 is certianly not enough. One of my previous offers was 18 months for 500 xnet mins, 100 texts + 250 free --- but do not want 18 months.

Oh God this is so annoying!

Thanks again, called O2 and spoke to another bod, who was much more helpful. She offered me:

1000 xNet mins for first 6 months (500 xNet mins thereafter)
    400 sms per month

+ FREE Samsung E900 (when comes in stock on 19th July)

    £20 / month (12 month contract).

I think I cannot do better as it would be taking the pee, also the mins roll over now which will help my last 6 months!

    Sound good?

    Hi,

I saw an offer on the cpw site for an 02 exec (expensive electronic brick) free with an 18 month contract (£35 per month) or £49 with 12 month (also £35/mnth). The total for the 12 month contract would then be £469.

I called up o2 the same day and managed to get the offer of the phone for £229 and £15 per month for 12 months ie total of £409 for the year. I'm happy. I then get an email saying the item is out of stock which seems to be a fairly common scenario from what I'm reading here. Should I get confirmation of those prices in writing? I've now got an order number and the confirmation email says to look at my account for order status. This order doesn't seem to have appeared yet (am I surprised...).

Anyway, CPW don't seem to have the same offer today - the current equivalent is £590 for the year. Have I just been very lucky? Maybe I'm being naive but If I have an order number I'm safe...aren't I?
