Lying scumbag cheats.
You can see already the we never received it letter,
Get stuffed O2.
I will get a free 12 month contract via reesit muttons website
I was also told the same about cancelling via a hand written letter, to protect yourself you send it via signed for delivery so they can't say they didn't get it. Simple really
Also if you can get a free contract elsewhere, why even bother calling 02?? I'd have just cancelled and got the free contract elsewhere.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
If you request a PAC code with O2 they should give it to you over the phone, you could then use that which would cancel your contract and would avoid you having to write them a letter.0

My contract comes to its 12 month at the start of August and so I should be eligible for an upgrade, I'm looking at getting the K800i but the only tariff online at the moment is £35 a month, I'm really wanting to pay around the £20 mark and would like 100mins and maybe 500 texts per/month, should I be ringing o2 now and trying to see what they can offer, or wait till the end of the 12 month term?
Also what are the chances of getting the K800i around the £20/month mark?
Thanks!Stuff Happens As Wave of Ambiguity Spreads:cool:0 -

Thanks!
I had to pay £50 for the phone but got £15 line rental on 400 mins and 100 texts on a 18 month deal. I also get 100 bonus texts from next month as a loyalty bonus.0 -
Ok I wussed out, I phoned retentions back up again because i still like O2, i went for the following:
K800i for £79.99
Online Offpeak 500 for 18 months... 1000 minutes of talk, 150 texts a month.
For 12 months, i will get this for £15, then back up to £25 for the last 6 months.
I was having quite a bad day yesterday, not the best time to call customers services. I'm still not happy how they don't give phones to long-standing customers at the same price as new customers.0 -
I just got off the phone with O2 and have accepted a
12 month contract at £15 a month for
200 xnet minutes
400 texts
a new K800i for £39.99
This was the best deal i could get as i was previously an O2 100 (100 mins, 100 texts £25 a month)customer so i have got a vast improvement on minutes and texts for £10 less a month.
I am very happy with this and thank you very much for the tip off. (even though i cant remember how i stumbled across your site.0 -
There is going to be new tarrifs out on o2 on thursday. So might be worth delaying as they are going to have long weekends which give 2000 free minutes a month at the weekend.0

interesting ,, i'll be calling them till then,, he he ... hopefully they'll have enough and give me a free contract!0

Just recently last month changed my tarriff from online 200 to online 100, last month (and every month ive had the contract, 8 months) i paid £30 a month with my usage. This month, im now paying £156!!! Apparantly £96 on voice calls, and they've charged me 2 months of line rental (for just changing tarriff). Seems a bit harsh!0

Existing O2 customer (from mobileshop) just about up to 12 months (last day is Thursday). Currently paying 25 or 30 pm for O2 100+100 & another 10 or so for 200 xtra texts. Some offset by c/back. 12 month contract.
Wife is happy with her elderly phone - Moto V500, perhaps a PEBL or V3 wouldn't go amiss. Or if there's a good deal going I wouldn't mind a Nokia N80
Likely cost for 100 mins + 300+ texts per month - £15 or so?
£50 for a V3?
What do you reckon? What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0
