Had a look at the link, some good offers but all the people on there have 18 month contracts etc.....
I'll try the retention team tomorrow.0 -
Hi T-Mob Insider,
My brother is on Solo Fixed 15. Can you advise what retentions would offer if I was to phone up?
Thanks
They will perhaps try get you onto a contract which will be the deals that are available on t-mobile website. i have previously posted you will be offered £5 off for 3mths or the family booster or unlimted t-mobile calls or unlimited landline calls for 3 mths0 -

Unfortunately the advisor never offered anything.... Which I thought was unusual??
I do have the Unlimited T-Mobile calls at the moment as i recommended someone to T-Mobile and this was the free gift.0 -
I got a contract for my sister on Tmobile Solo 30.Stayed on that for about 17 months. The last six months of which her average spend was 50 quid a month due to her using it for international calls. She finally decided to cancel at the beginning of Nov.
She got offered a £15 pm discount on Combi 20 plus web and walk so she pays £4.91 pm for 100 minutes, 100 texts and unltd internet (18 month contract). In addition she got a Nintendo Wii console with remote and nunchuck controller and wii sports game which was delivered about 10days ago.You can have God without religion!0 -
I am out of contract with T Mobile by a good few months. I recently phoned up to get my PAC number as I was thinking of moving contracts (partly because I wanted a new phone and partly because of their high overseas calling costs).
My monthly usage is not very high, I rarely go above 100 mins and 100 texts.
As a 'valued' customer, they have put me on a special retentions deal. I am now paying £5 per month for 100 minutes (anytime) and unlimited texts. This is for 12 months, and I can cancel anytime. And they have also given me a free one month trial of the Web n walk ( not that I ever use it, but still! )
OK so I didn't get a new phone, but you can't have everything.
I nearly went for the Satio, glad I didn't now.
Thank you T-mobile! :T£400+ in my £2 coin tablet fund0 -

Hi all,
just after a bit of advice before I go into store tomorrow to upgrade.
I am not officially eligible for an upgrade until 19th Dec (contract end 19th Jan). Online it is already offering me upgrades, and is asking £102 for the Hero (G2 Touch). If I was a new customer on a similar deal to mine I would get it free over 18 months!!
When I go to upgrade in store will I be able to change my price plan to make the phone free? I think its so bad if I was a new customer I could get it free!!
Whats my best plan of attack when I go to see them tomorrow?
Thanks:beer:0 -
i would cancel and go elsewhere. i dont see why you should have to increase your price plan to get the phone for free when u can prob get a better deal elsewhere.
look around on the internet for the best deal. alternatively, speak to t-mobile's retention team over the phone and see if you can barter a deal with them. although i have read that their retention deals are not very good.0 -
you need to phone up customer services to get the best deal. When you phone up, select "thinking about leaving T-Mobile". You'll be connected with the retentions team.
If you go into a store, all they do if you decline their main offers is phone up the same people anyway while you wait. This is the experience I had in Hertfordshire a few weeks ago anyway.0
