    last 3 months, sadly.
really? I'm sure it used to be a year... or maybe that's just for business custies? As when I've tried to squeeze a deal out of them before they've gone through my spend etc on the phone with me (yes, that's after a LOT of haggling!)

  • rang tmobile this afternoon after checking this thread as rang them up a few weeks back and was told that i couldnt change my price plan until the 2nd of jan, i had been on flext 75 and have recently taken out a 2nd contract with them and because of this wanted to reduce the flext 75 to flext 40 and keep the off peak allowance which i had on this line. spoke to a quite friendly and helpful guy, i didnt need a new handset which was for the best as i was told that tmobile wont be doing handset upgrades until at least early january maybe even early february. i told the guy i wanted to move down to flext 40 and retain the off peak allowance and he actually gave me exactly that along with the £5 loyalty discount for the full 18 months of the new term instead of the 6 most people seem to have been offered. happy with what i got but if im messed around and told to wait next time then will be cancelling. sorry if this is long winded, just trying to help people
  • I phoned up today to confirm if i would be eligible for a new phone in New Year after being out of contract for 1year.I'm on Flex 35 with 50% discount. I was told today I will not receive a new handset after being told few months back to wait till New Year. I decide to terminate my contract today after being with T-mobile for over 4years. Very little attempt was made to keep me so I’ll be taking my money to O2 where I will receive 30% family and friends discount as my friends work there.

Haven't they been saying to wait until January? You don't know what the deal is until their systems show them the options they are allowed to offer you.

    It is still 2008. January starts T O M O R R O W  Impatience with T-mobile does not get you anywhere

my online deal is still just a fiver but I'm going to wait until the actual expiry date... if they don't come up with something decent, the current Solo offers look good
