I heard yesterday that TMobile are offering G1's to staff members for a 1 of payment of £49.99 which most of them are doing and sticking them on Ebay.

Must be desperate to get rid of them.
Them ones are returns not brand new ones.

The G1 really needs to be out a bit longer to get the bugs out the phone believe me when i say i know lol bain of my life right now.

As for upgrades hold of till january but call to get small discount till then for holding of.

For real good phone new blackberry curve is something else if looking for something with all the bells and whistles had it for a loan for a week and it has changed my mind on blackberys.

with the 50% family/friends discount can you use it on the SOLO plans?
I quite like that 20£ plan on offer for 10 pounds ^^

My father is on flext35 plan ..12 months into it ...is he allowed to change talkplans? On some networks i kno you can upgrade but nt downgrade

T-mobile changed the plans available on the staff plan, you can only go on £30 + plans, there are some £25 ones but I'm sure thats just u-fix and my faves.

T-mobile will let your dad upgrade to a higher tarriff, but they wont let him downgrade until month 17 on an 18mnth plan.

What's wrong with the G1? I must be the happiest person with it at the moment. Yes its the first one, no its not the G2 but hey you have cutting edge tech in your hand.

There is nothing wrong with it really if you know phones . Heres just a few.

    1. Cant use hotmail with it although says you can.
    2. Cant send text messages with older sim card.
    3. No way of adding in message centre number to get it working.
    3. It doesnt always connec to internet when it should so if d/ling say pac man the fix to get it is believe it or not just keep trying lol.

I could go on but you get where im coming from.

Oh and unable to bluetooth files. but i here there is an app being made for that now.

hi guys was jus wondering: my mum has the 40% staff discount as she works for currys and shes currently on flext (the £180 one they dont do it anymore) i was wondering if she could add a solo priceplan to her account and get discount on that aswell

so she still hav the flext buh can she get discount if she also took out a new priceplan?
  • would she not have to find out through her work what the benefits are? I'm not sure how they process discounts for people out with t-mobile, but i'm assuming she'll have something at work that would tell her, no?

The t-mobile staff discount for everyone as far as i'm aware are price plans of £30 a month an over, no idea if solo is included, and staff get an allowance (5 a year in retail) to use, depends on what the agreement is though.
