what phones do you think will be available start january then? nokia if poss and free upgrade. i phoned for upgrade but didnt get any discounts! just got told to wait till jan

T-mobile are going to have to do something quite impressive in January after telling so many customers to wait until then because ' there's lots of new handsets coming out' etc.... or elso, I suspect, like I will be doing, people will simply leave them!!

Nokia 5800 due mid jan hopefully. Going to be nearer the £200 rrp mark.

I have over 40 customers waiting for upgraded as of beginning of jan who were only offered £5 discounts.

Also coming is a 24 month version of combi 15 and 20 with unlimited texts included.

I dont know how long you've been working for T-mobile, but i'm sure you've had the times when they said they were going to bring a product out, and then when due to launch have pulled it back for various reasons (e.g not the right time, problems with the features etc) I'd just be careful what information your sharing as you may tell people something is definetly happening, only for them to be disappointed when t-mobile pull out before the launch.

i phoned too they said ring back mid january,to be honest im giving them till january 10th then its bye bye t mobile.the sad thing is,the few on here talking about leaving cant be the only ones, and in this climate can any company afford to lose so many customers,up to now they have had 3 months worth of customers in limbo with regards upgrades and contract renewal which if looking at it another way could be around a fifth of all your contracted customers assuming 18 month contracts who could leave at any time, doesnt bode well for t mobile.i did actually voice my concerns to customer services and they laughed saying they are too big a company to be effected...hmmmmmm

they go on your last 12 months' spend - the more you've spent, the bigger the discount they'll give you at renewal - generally.

    last 3 months, sadly.
  • Not sure how I managed it to be honest. I'm nowhere near being a big spender.
It was his idea to knock me down a tarriff as I don't use many free texts or free calls, thought that was strange. Then I told him the phone I wanted he asked me lots of annoying questions at which point I was expecting to be told I need to pay a shed load for the phone. He came back with £15 so I snatched his hand off. I have to pay for the blackberry service which takes me back up to the £30 I was paying before but i'm pretty chuffed to be honest.

The only thing I can think of is that i've been with them for nearly 5 years now

In the past i've had to pay upfront for the delivery charge and any phone charge but he didn't take my card details, will it just get added to my next bill or have I managed to blag a freebie?
  • ....I was a bit grumpy with the guy to start with (First day back at work), not sure if that had anything to do with it
