so, been on Flext 20 getting £34 credit and with £5 discount, my contract on that ended in Sept 2007 but been with them since at least 2001 but I'm sure it is earlier. In all that time I'm sure I've only had 3 phones.

I often check the upgrade pages but am constantly disappointed. Do I stand a good chance of getting a half decent wi-fi smart phone such as a Samsung Galaxy S or HTC Desire?

Giving them a call is better than checking the website, once you find out what they can offer you phone upgrade experts and they will be able to beat the deal!

Yeah, if you're willing to pay a substantial amount for the phone or upgrade to a higher value contract and pay a lesser amount for the phone.

    Thanks for the reply.

You don't need to give notice to cancel with T-Mobile ?

    Thanks

Maybe things have changed since i last looked into it but... They need 30 days notice (they never told me this when i was going to cancel with them about 2 years ago). I think you can get around this by just paying the line rental from now till October (whatever your monthly charge is)

Also don't forget to get your pac or puk codes if you are going to keep the same number but change to a different network

    that doesn't seem very appealing....
  • Hello.

I am a long way of my contract before it ends (12 months) and i am wondering exactly what to do or what i could get after a 'Threaten' them i am going to leave my contract when it comes to the end.

My phone and contract info is:

    Phone - HTC Desire
    £25 per month
    300 Minutes
    300 Texts
    3GB allowance
    18 Month contract

I hope to be getting a new phone of T-Mobile when this one is up and it would probably be one of the newest/best phones out around the time .

This is my first contract phone ever and i am unsure exactly how much cash i could get as i dont really go over my allowance so more minutes/texts/gb would be pointless.

You're not going to be able to do anything until the last month....
  • I understand that but what would my options be :)?

Why would you threaten them? Do you want to come out of a contract? you would have to pay the your rental charge of 11 months so whatever that is ie: £35 x 11
