Can anyone who has requested a PAC code tell me how long it takes to get it from O2. I've been waiting nearly a week now. Their deals on offer were no better (some were worse ) than what I am on now.

I think your going in with the wrong attitude. Ranting and raving just gets peoples backs up and they will then not go out of there way to get you a good deal. Be polite and then see what you can get.
I really hate to say this but it does- having a considered argument and then hammering it home with O2 is the only way to go sometimes. Their customer services is so hit and miss that shock and awe gets you as far as being polite, it shouldn't do but it does sadly:).

I think you can get the same or slightly better deal (more minutes) if you took a phone. Your line rental would double to £20pm but if your not bothered about a handset then you could always sell new on ebay or to whoever and as long as sell it for at least £180 youl cover the rest of the contract.

Also you dont neccesarily have to take the unlimited 02-02 calls, you can choose any one of the bolt ons

    FYI,

Just spoken to O2 retentions team, they are updating their systems and only have very limited information. Advised to call back after 2:30pm today....

I suppose that most of the systems are not available at the moment and they only have access to info like name and address etc...... I told her that I was thinking of leaving and was calling to see if there was anything they could offer me to keep me as a customer. The girl said to "definitely call back later on!"

Fingers crossed for later on then! :)

I got the same advice when calling them. Probably doing some software maintenance, although it is strange that this is happening during working hours.

Get it in writing tso they don't fob you off when the phone comes out !!!!!!

Any more details on how much you spent this year, how long with them, any techniques used on the phone ?

    Cheers
