From what I have heard, O2 are one of the worst to attempt to retain customers and don't have many (any) decent offers. Do try because there is always a chance they will change their minds on that but I think they're not that bothered.

Anyone had success receiving bill credit to remain on the same tariff when out of contract?

Have just been offered 500 mins, 500 texts, 500mb 4G on 12 month contract for £7.50 month. Suits my usage and seems like an unexpectedly good deal but it was the first thing they offered. Is it possible I could do even better if I hold out? Also new contract would start immediately even though my existing one has a month to run, presumably so that I can't change my mind and cancel.

I am at the end of a 24 month contract with o2 which included a Sony Compact at £28 p/m. o2 have offered the following, is this a good deal? It's again £28 per month.

Upfront cost of £9.99 waived and £5 loyalty added for the next 24 months.

Why not keep your phone and go sim only with giff gaff and save money?

£20 pm for unlimited everything.

It's a lousy deal, keep your mobile, get it unlocked (free from O2?), then go SIM only with Virgin, currently for £15/month on a 30 day rolling contract you get 5000 mins, 20 GB and unlimited texts.

In fairness the phone they offered is £359 on this site so it's much cheaper via o2?
