I just want a sim deal. I am no longer interested in their phones as to get anything decent you have to sign up to a 2 year deal, pay a high monthly tarriff (i.e pay for the phone really), by which times the phone is usually on its last legs. I prefer to save up and buy my own phone.0

£12.50 30 day rolling sim only
200 min
5000 texts
Unlimited data
Good luck... I went to giff gaff and their £10 a month for all that...0 -
Currently spend around £26 on a Blackberry 9300 getting 100 mins, unlimited texts and 500mb of data...
Looking to upgrade to a good bold or an iPhone - anyone got any advice?0 -
I had your phone on o2, I found the 9300 so reliable (I had 5 replacements) and eventually they replaced it with a manufacturer refurbished Bold 9900 - which I sold on ebay. The bold felt quite nice / was like a blackberry/iphone hybrid but I don't trust blackberry anymore. maybe I got a bad batch? But 5 times!? Maybe o2 didn't like me.
Anyway I went for the iphone 4s deal in tesco . You would pay less than 26 a month over 2 years (it is £100 handset, £20pm on 24 months).
o2 have rubbish retention deals imo0 -

With o2 since 2005 ...I was due for an upgrde ,called and got offered rubbish deals....called tesco and bagged the deal you mentioned 20£ a month + £100 for the phone white :beer:iphone4S...
way cheaper than O2 is offering me .....o2 retention sucks0 -

Decided it was time to have a better phone. Went into a shop yesterday and was going to upgrade my simplicity deal, whilst there was an offer on, and then look around for a phone. Quite liked the Galaxy Ace and thought this would do me. Anyway, the computer said no the simplicity upgrade, would only do it with a phone. Did not have time, so went back to work.
Gave 02 a call when I got home. Was offered the phone on an £11.50 pm contract, with 250 mins, unlimited texts, 100mb data, unlimited weekend any network/landline calls. Apparently, I got the extra 200 mins because of my loyalty - I have been with them for more years than I care to remember.
Was assured that 100mb would be sufficient for my needs - occassional browsing when out.
How does this sound?0 -
I don't think 100mb of internet access will get you very far IMHO
I was with o2 on phone, broadband and mobile for a number of years with no complaints about service but at the end of the day they would not budge on giving me mobile internet access for the same rate as Tesco so they ended up loosing the lot!..Will probably gop back next year if good cash back deal available...It pays to shop around! The Early bird may catch the worm ...but its the second mouse that gets all the cheese!0 -
i think 100MB is enough if youre mostly going to be connected to wifi (eg, work, home)
Also depends what you use your phone for.0 -
I surf for about an hour a day and this uses about 15-20mb. so you will get about 5-6 hours of surfing for 100mb.0
