I was only on £20 a mth tariff and it didnt affect what they offered me. Think some of it goes by how long youve been with them

I'm on the online off-peak 300 tariff (I've been on it for 3 years) and when I phoned up to enquire what they could offer me I was offered the online 30 tariff (400 mins and 1000 texts or 500 mins and 100 texts) for £20 per month with a new phone. Going to ring up and accept it next week when I reach my upgrade date

I've been with O2 for three years now and have kept the same phone but got double minutes and credit at last renewal.

Been after a new phone for a month now but every time I phoned the one I wanted was out of stock although the website was showing different.

Finally got fed up and went through to retentions on Saturday and I've been offered the Samsung Tocca with 600 anytime minutes, 1000 texts:eek: (I hate texting) unlimited web browsing and free O2 to O2 calls for £20 a month. They said the quote is valid for 7 days and the phone due in today so I have to phone back to order. I asked for a 12 month contract but don't remember that being confirmed so I will check before accepting.

I'm quite chuffed, well apart from having to learn how the new phone works.:rotfl:

Has anyone else on a 12 mth contract been offered free o2 to o2 calls? I was offered it by 2 ppl, yet according to customer services now i was no way offered it as thenotes are not on my account. They also said Im not going to get the 200 mins and 400 txts i was offered at upgrade for £20 a mth either. really annoyed.

oh and on my 6th phonecall to them I was assured the deal had gone through, then my bill arrived on saturday stating otherwise and now my cooling off period has ended!

Have you checked your allowances online? Last year when i upgraded on a retentions deal my new tariff came into effect after 48 hours, but the next bill charged for my old tariff. The bill after that one refunded the month i was paid for my old tariff and charged two lots of my new tariff, meaning that it all worked out. For example, say my old tariff cost £30, and my new one £20, the first month after upgrade i paid £30, and the month after that i paid 2x £20 and got the £30 back. It's a bit backwards but it worked out over the two months.

Yes i checked it and theyve messed it up! its been 2 weeks so plenty of time for them to put new tariff through

after cancelling the 18mth k850i deal, i phoned back this morning to see if they rec'd my phone.

they had so i was put through to retentions. she looked into things more and discovered i'd only been on simplicity and with then for 3 mths. the lolalty deals were not really available for me. but she said she'd honour the 18mth £20 mth 400mins and 1000 texts and unl 02-02 calls with a free LG Secret, but wouldn't buge on the N95 8gig

they don;t do the N82 which is what i wanted to. not to sure to accept or not.

I'm out of Contact with O2. I was on their online £35pm tariff which included 300 mins, 500 txt messages and ITS.

I called today and was offered 600 mins, unlimited text, unlimited browsing and a SE C902 for £25.00 per month on an 18th Month contract. I don't want an 18 month contact because I am emigrating.

On a 12 month Contract they offered 600 mins, 1000 txt and 1MB browing. for £25.00.

Is that any good? I told them I'd call them back.

Blimey! I called back and went for the £25.00pm 12 month contract and they gave me free 8MB BB for a year unlimited downloads! :j
