    He he.

With o2 select. Went to ask for my PAC code. Offered me all sorts of combinations, basically amounting to £180 credit and £15 discount per month on online tariffs - eventually ended up with 200mins anybody, unlimited o2-o2 (girlfriend and family on o2) and 100's of texts tariff, normally £25 per month, reduced to £10 per month, then £180 credit against that equates to 18 months free calls!

18 months free?! He-he - soon they'll be paying you to use their network!

Old phone (L6) still worked fine - cracked screen, though - but felt flush, so got the Samsung G600 refurbished for 90 squid (PAYG offer). Not bad if even just for the mp3 player and 5MP camera!

O2 great network and customer service. One happy customer.

    Kuler than ice.

    Today i got offered following:

W960i free, 600 xnet mins, 1000 texts and unlimited internet for £20 p/m over 18 months. If i never took the phone it would have been only £10 p/m.

I stated i knew someone else that got that deal and stuck to my guns on what i wanted. Happy with deal

Am watching this thread with interest as I am coming to the end of my 12 month contract. I have just had 400 mins and 500 texts for £25 and am wondering if I can get a better deal
Just quote the 3 12 month 500 minutes and unlimited texts deal to them, you should be able to get them to at least match it:).

I cant upgrade until 2nd june, thought they may let me do it early as 3 mths before my contract expired. I need a new phone and dont want to buy one if I can get a new one in 2 mths.

I've been on simplicity 20 for a month, but called today seeing what they could do.

    I didn't have to put much effort into getting 400m/1000t & a k850i for the same £20 a month.

Basically sorted myself a free handset at the cost of signing up for 18 months.
