just off the phone again to them, 5800 is back in stock just now but they would only offer me
600mins
1000 txts
web bolt on
£25/month
they wouldn't budge stating that is the best discount they can offer me. i reluctantly accepted it as it's still £10 off what i pay at the moment and best deal i can get inc web bolt on and the phone.
bit annoyed i didn't get it for £20/month even after i quoted everybody here getting it.
do you think i was too hasty and should try again?0 -
No, I think because demand is so high on the 5800, that is the best deal.
Personally I'd have gone for the XDA Ignito, would have been £2 extra, but with 1200 mins and you can then downgrade after 9 months to 600 min for £21. Is a much better phone, 5800 is mass produced generic phone whereas the htc is smarter.0 -
Just got the same deal as robert1980.
I agree with what Astec said, at the moment they can shift the 5800 without a problem, it's just that they have to match the Orange and Vodafone deal at the moment.0 -
Does XDA Ignito = HTC Touch Diamond?
Looks very similar.
@ Robert1980.... might be worth waiting till the phone comes and then ringing up and sayng you have changed your mind and want to return it under the 14 day money back guarantee (if this applies)....
When they say why, explain its too expensive and they might drop the price.0 -
