Any O2 peeps know, whether O2 will be stocking the Arena?
Thanks
Anyone know whether the LG Arena will be available on O2? I have seen it on Orange and T Mobile.0 -
Has anyone tried to negotiate a 12 month contract with O2 and what sort of response did you get? No way i'm going for an 18 month contract so if they won't budge then i'll be leaving them...0

Morp your only real problem if you do leave O2 is finding a decent 12 month contract that has a decent allowance without going over the £30 mark.
3 seem to have a couple of decentish phones on the 12 month £25 texter which is 500 mins and umlinited texts. not bad.
18 month and even 24 month are becoming more and more the norm now so 12 months is hard to come buy unless its a retention ive noticed.0 -

If you don't need a phone, the 12 month Simplicity tariff might be up your street.Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -
Imo 12 months contract are alot better in term of getting a new phone every year. But 18 months does get you better deals if you can haggle for abit.It depends imo.
Personally i'll rather go for a cheaper line rental and try to get the best deal out of it. Then forking out £20-£30 permonth a contract and brand spanking new phone.0 -
Just spoke to Retentions again and have been offered the following deal
Without taking a phone
18 month contract
400 mins
1000 text
unlimited o2-o2 calls
Unlimited web bolt on
Free home broadband for 12 months
£15 a month with £150 credit
Works out to about £6.67 over the 18 months
What do u guys think is this a good deal???0 -
Thanks everyone....
I really hate the way everything is 18 and 24 month contracts now so I am resisting as long as I possibly can.... 18 months is far too long for me to keep a phone the way technology moves....
I have seen the Three £25 per month texter and I think that is what i'm going to go for....0 -
Atlantis, that seems like a good deal. I think the key question is whether it suits you needs. If it does, it's a cracking deal. You've got what looks like 2 bolt ons! I was offered 2 but the next O2 agent didn't and said I made a mistake!Tough times never last longer than tough people.0

Not done a deal yet! Waiting for my PAC to expire cos I've changed my mind and don't want the Blackberry anymore!
Hoping to keep my current contract at £20/month OR at a push go for the 1200xnet and hopefully 2 boltons (internet and landline calls) at £27. Dunno if it's do-able but I've suddenly become philosophical and going to K.I.S.S.Tough times never last longer than tough people.0
