I know e2save have a lot of bad press, but is there anyone that can offer a glimmer of hope regarding them cos I've seen a deal on e2save (courtesy of a fellow MSEer) that beats anything that O2 can offer me!

    Any good review?

I've had no bother with e2save in the year I've had a contract with them. Sent each of the three cashback claims (so far) by recorded delivery. Followed each redemption application up with a quick call a day or so later to their customer services to check they'd received it and enquire whether it had been authorised - then just waited for the cheques to arrive which they duly have. Admittedly it's a bit of chore but well worth the £240 it will save over the year.

Previously on a £45 tariff, O2 credited me with £150 (not £180) for 18months sim only deal, 200mins & 400txt, still within the 14 days cooling off period, thinking about telling them to credit a further £30 or i'll leave??? What do you think?
think you would be cutting your nose off to spite your face, just because someone else was credited £180does not mean everyone will. i should imagine that the peron who got the free deal used under their allowage, prob next to nothing and o2 wanted to keep them on their network in the hop they one day call an 0845 number.

try it though and see if they just give your your PAC code. pure greed is a bit different to moneysaving imo

    Hi there Bogden,

    Here it is http://www.e2save.com/orange-contract-phone/Blackberry+9000+Bold+Clearance/4/CLBBOLDGPS

Very tempting. Read mobilejunkie's guide for dummies and from previous experience I'm about ready to take them on. What do you think?

  • I have a query regarding my contract and e2save.

I'm on an orange Dolphin (35) contract with Orange which I took out with e2save cashback scheme. So far it's all gone well and I have 2 redemptions left to claim.

My query is, when I took the contract I also took out internet browsing on my mobile for £7.99 a month. Now I don't really need it. Can I call up orange and cancel that extra payment without affecting the T+C's of my e2save redemptions?

Edit: Apologies, noticed this was O2 thread, will move it.

    hiii

have been with o2 for literally years on PAYG i usually top up 15-20 p/m and get 300 tx or 500 if i top up £20 however my spending has gone up double in the past few months[ spent 50!!] so im considering a contract:confused: i only need a sim only one and would like to keep it that way as i dont really want to be tied in to a 18 month contract
i also get my home internet with o2.

i only need about 300 minutes [ as i only call evenings and weekends really?]and unlimited texts [or about 1000?]

orange have the 19.50 p/m deal with 600 mins and unlim text and 3 magic numbers
    or
o2 have 19.50 p/m with 600 mins + 1200 tx plus a free bolt on so either unlim tx or unlim weekend calls.

what number do i need to call to try and nogate a good deal? long shot but anyone got any idea about what i should aim for? -as you can tell im not very good on phone stuff.

    thanks

Spoke to them again today. Can't discount phone price, £98 on the £45 tarriff, £49 on the £35 tarriff. Will get a 40% discount on line rental, so £20 for the £35 tarriff. Offered free broadband too.
