I have just switched to 150 minutes and 300 texts for £9.79 per month. :T
No contract and you keep your phone but that suits me at the moment as not working.
Details can be found here
http://shop.o2.co.uk/sim-only-simplicity
Other deals include 300 mins and 600 texts for £15.00
worth checking out.
For the last 3 years I have always had the same retention deal:
100 mins
300 text
£10 per month (£100 cashback)
£20 net cost for the year.0 -
can you believe this,
i phoned up yesterday to give my 30 days notice,
they said did i need a new phone?
i said no
they said to keep me, give me an 18th contract for £0???? the bill would be £10 a month but they would credit the bill wilth £180 so it would be for nothing
250 mins... 300 texts!!! i snapped it up!0 -

WOW! Was this your old contract or an entirely new offer?
Does this mean that O2 credit is now £180 (instead of £150)?
Cracking deal, man!Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -
its not a new deal, just added onto the end of my existing contract, as its 30 days notice, i did have a contract for 35 pound a month , so this is a deal i cant pass!0

Hell's teeth! What's in it for O2?0 -
yes its from 02, all i did was phone up and ask to give 30 days notice,
i couldnt believe it, i dont get a new phone but have n95 anyway!
but to have minutes for nothing for 18 months, i wouldnt turn that down!
it wasnt hard to get, i didnt haggle or nothing , i just wanted to give notice:D0 -
Great deal. Immediate cashback from O2? That would do me nicely.
Was it easy to get?
Yes immediate credit, really easy never had to barter at all over it as I was just prepared to leave but they offered it straight away. Every year I just ring up and renew, don't even spend anything as just use thre free texts/mins.0 -
Lucky you! I am very envious of your new offer! Basically a free contract! What phone model?0

I've just upgraded to a free Nokia 5800 (the touch screen one) for £20 a month, unlimited 02 - O2, 400 X network mins and 1000 texts.

I was on 200 mins 200 texts for £30.
I asked why carphonewarehouse could do the N96 for free on £35 a month but they wouldn't match it :rolleyes:0
