I got the X1 last time it was in stock, £45 tariff for £27 a month and paid £50 for the phone I think. (if I remember right)0

Thought I'd post on here in case anybody could offer a suggestion. My wife's o2 deal is about up and she's looking into upgrading. Last time she was due an upgrade, she was offered £100 credit to keep the same handset, which she took. I've been seeing deals through Carphone Warehouse etc which offer a free PS3 or Xbox on some tariffs. I'm not expecting o2 retentions to match this should she cancel her deal and take a new number elsewhere, but does she have any chance of getting something similar through o2? The PS3 could really come in handy as we're looking at a blu-ray player.
Thanks in advance.0 -
Still no Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 in stock yet
Call back tomorrow mate. I called the day before and the nice lady told me that it's out of stock but it should be in by Friday. Quoted a deal from mobile express:
Vodafone (18 months - £40/month)
700 minutes + Unlimited landline calls
250 text
Unlimited Internet
£65 cashback
Making it £36.39/month ( Or shave off £50/18 if going via quidco/topcashback)
Was told that they could definitely beat the deal - am looking forward to it
Will post update once I've given them a call.0 -
Been trying almost every day for the past month, almost had enough of waiting but the cheap tariff I'm on right now is ok
I was after the £45 to £27 tariff, was prepared to spend up to £100 but £50 is better obviously(was comparing to similar tariff phones to see what is best)
Best one I was looking at for me was the t-mobile flex30
1400 credit (2credits a minute or 1 credit a text)
so
500 minutes
400 texts
unlimited internet
Free G1 android smartphone
£xyz cashback going through quidco
free 8gb microSD card (as they are £10 or so i'd accept that off too)
2:30pm is about the best time to call isn't it?0 -

Oooh G1! *nods head* If it wasn't for Tmobile being absolute !!!!! in my area, I'd have gone for that phone myself
Anyways, just got off the phone with them. Something's wrong with the system just now, so was advised to call back tomorrow as they are unable to access individual accounts.
Not sure they can offer the G1 though since it's a Tmobile specific phone?0 -
Currently pay £35 pm for 200 mins for my Dad's phone. HAd this running for 2 years and through laziness did nothing about it.Only use 50 mins max. Had no upgrades. Want to keep number and get monthly to minimum. Do I say I want to leave? What kind of offer can I expect? Stil got Nokia 6210 from 2 years ago.0

I got the same when I called as their system couldn't update etc
I know they can't offer the G1 as it is t-mobile only, but the X1 is similar in terms of specs and features in my view and was more about the tariff and bonuses like the memory card0 -
