atlantis187,
the max they were ready to give away was £150 off if I was not going to take the new mobile.
another deal was the same mins and texts with web bolt on for £15/month and 150 to go in credit to my account0 -
I've been with CPW O2 for 2.5 years now, 1 x 12 month contract + 1 x 18 month contract.
I have been really tempted to swap to T-Mobile for a flext contract as DH has that and gets loads of minutes and his bill is never more than £30. For a £30 pcm contract I have had 400 x network minutes + 500 texts and 30 minutes off peak minutes coutesy of O2 treats for the last 18 months + I got £360 cash back paid in 4 installments, so overall a good deal. I had a new phone at the start of the contract too. I have to say my bill is always a few quid over the £30 though, sometimes just £2 once or twice £10 over, proabbly with 0800 /0870's so hopefully now that I've found saynoto0870 that will improve.
I have just had this offer for the next 18 months, new samsung Soul phone (silver), monthly line rental of £25 rather than £30 plus £120 cash back 200 minutes + 200 texts plus double text and double minutes and still my 30 minutes off peak, so 400 + 400 + 30
However, the phone arrived battered, seal broken and clearly returned by another customer so it's been returned to a store & I'm back to the negotiating table on Monday. I did want a Sony Ericsson C905 so might push for one of them now.

Hi, I've been with O2 for just over a year, have downgraded to a £10 simplicity deal whilst I decide what phone to get this time. On the their website I can get an SE W980 free with 200mins/400 texts for £25 a month. I don't mind the price however, I would like at least 100 more minutes a month (a 200min bolt-on is available for 7.50). Could I get them to reduce the number of texts (I hardly ever text - hate it) and get more minutes? I've looked at CPW and Dial-a-phone for a better deal on that phone to present to O2 however, I have not found anything. What are your tips?

I should add that the package was not an upgrade but as a new customer does that matter?0

Hi, does anyone have the telephone number for o2 for the offer for PAYG customers as I rang their main sales number and was not offered anything.0 -

Been offered either of the following with a free Pixon (although it's not in stock until next week)
1200 mins
1000 texts
One bolt on
£45 down to £27.50
or
600 mins
1000 texts
One bolt on
£35 down to £25
He said he could only offer 40% off the £45 tarrif, does anyone know if I'd be able to get the £25 down any further? It's the best deal I've seen on the Pixon anywhere at £25 even though0 -
I've just got a reconditioned iphone free on a £35 tariff with 600mins & 500 texts + unlimited web. Pretty standard deal, but I'm more bothered about the phone rather than the inclusive and I think the iphone is the only mobile that will hold my attention for 18 months!0

Premium phones like the Pixon/ X1 etc are usually chargeable handsets anywhere between £50-£100. The tariff you have you can get from o2 for £20pm but because theyve given you a handset free probably explains the extra £5 rental charge
All in a still a good deal, i got the X1 not so long ago and paid £100 for the handset but £20pm for the same tariff as you. Yours would work out an extra £90 over the 12 months which would cover the cost you pay for the handset
mobiles.co.uk has the Pixon for free with certain cash back there's also £40 quidco too but the line rental is £35pm0
