Wife has walked out - what are my options.

Just stumbled on this thread and thought I'd add my two-penneth! Firstly, do not act in haste and start consulting solicitors as a 'knee-jerk reaction'. If you want to fight to save your marriage - there is no time limit. Just try to be patient. She may come round, she may not. But perhaps all she wants at the moment is some 'time out' to breathe and not face the complications of the situation. It is good you are finding out your financial position, but she doesn't have to know this. Perhaps she doesn't want to talk to you because she doesn't want the pressure on her. I don't know, but just thought I'd offer an opinion. Remember: it's early days yet!"When you want something said, ask a man.
When you want something DONE, ask a woman" - Margaret Thatcher0
