Just gave my notice to go Payg, took forever to get him to do it, best offer was a 6500 slide with a £10 month discount off my 400 min 250 texts £5 download tarrif. I said I was leaving as I thought loyal customers should get a better deal than new customers, he then questioned where my loyalty to 3 was as I'd had a phone free for 11months!!!
He did mention that the new mix and match tarrifs were billed by the minute so you will find your minutes get used up a lot quicker than the old tarrifs.
He also didnt belive that quidco would pay up despite me telling him it had 3 times allready!0 -
well just got the long awaited phone call after giving notice to go payg which would have gone on the 15th May.
£10 per month for life Nokia 6500 classic or slide. 500 mix n match minutes and 300 free 3 to 3 calls.
I told him I wanted the Nokia n95 but he said it wasnt available. told him I wanted a better deal for the line rental, was told this was the best... Told him to ring me back tomorrow.
This contract is my old one that I gave to the kids as I got a good deal last year.....so really want to spend the least as possible but if I got the n95 i would pay the £10 per month....see what they say tomorrow0 -
Got 11 days to go until end of contract. Best I can get is 10/month 500mins and 300 3 to 3 mins on dreaded 18 month contract.
They are offering 6500 slide (which he claims is better than classic) or Sony Ericsson k660i.

Hold out and you could be offered an LG Viewty or N950 -
He is saying they have no more N95s left as lots of ppl taking up offer. Was on phone for ages yesterday (they are ringin again as I type!)
Won't back down or give better handset even though I have two contracts with them.
He is pressuring me and I guess I'm scared they will discontinue the offer if I don't take it up now (they have been ringing me all month and I keep saying no).
Don't know what do to. E2save £1.99 per month offer is tempting but don't want the risk."fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell)0 -

I wouldn't be touching any cashback deals at the moment- good luck0 -
I have given up on waiting 9and spending £20 each month for 100 mins/100 texts as my PAC runs out and I forget about sorting it!) - I am porting my number out onto a PAYG. They have a six month contract deal on 3 website (300 or 500 mix and match, Nokia 6288 - 300 will be £15 per month for 6 months - £90 - £32.50 from Quidco, - £30 RAF = £27.50 for the six months, £20 voucher for headsets etc and a phone worth at least £50 which you could sell on ebay - sound good? Still better than a cashback deal given the current problems being reported with e2save etc.

Offer stopped on Nokia 6288 but now available on SE Z610iR Pink, Grey, Black, Nokia 6151 and Skype phones.

The wife gave notice 3 weeks ago and initially tried for a SEK850i but 3 wouldn't offer a good deal, so she left it. She received a phone call today offering a nokia 6500 slide with 500 mix and match 300 3 to 3 and other things like skype minutes for £10 a month on an 18 month contract, she accepted the deal.0
