Gave notice wished to go to PAYG. First telephone call passed onto someone else who I had great difficulty understanding and he come up with £10 a month new phone [don't know which phone] for 100 mins!! I said I would still rather go PAYG, he very grumpily replied "Well thats perectly alright with me please listen to the message." and off he went and I listened to the PAYG conditions!!
I wonder if i will get another call?Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

If you read through the thread you will see that the best deals are offered to people with about 10 days remaining before contract is turned into PAYG.0 -

That sounds a great deal to me, just what I need for my daughter - how did you manage to get that?0

buy direct from three via your quidco account...and if you need a refer-a-friend, I've signed up for it and have the e-mail in my inbox ready for you to use
. When you buy, there is a link on 3's page for you to enter the referrer's number, couple of months later, £30 credit applied to both our bills

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
this is from https://www.myvouchercodes.co.uk, apparently by entering BTddmmyySB (where ddmmyy is the current date) in the promo code section of the three website you will also receive a Bluetooth Headset and Memory Card with your order. I haven't tried it, so can't say for sure if this works but worth a try i guess (can anyone else confirm??).
Here's a quick update about my retention offer. I didn't get a better offer other than staying on my current tariff but reduced from £30 to £20/month or mix and match 300 for £15/month. I've therefore ported my number to Orange PAYG so that its safe (BTW, was going to port to Virgin PAYG but they said i needed to spend a min of £30 before they would release a PAC code!), am using my sisters three phone and mins while she is abroad and will start a new contract going via quidco + refer a friend + BTddmmyySB in a few weeks. Hopefully, three might have some betters deals available by then.
Lastly, according to Three terms and conditions (when i checked last week) the current refer a friend offer runs out at the end of april, does this promo get constantly renewed??0 -
says expires end of may on my latest bill0

I have given up on waiting 9and spending £20 each month for 100 mins/100 texts as my PAC runs out and I forget about sorting it!) - I am porting my number out onto a PAYG. They have a six month contract deal on 3 website (300 or 500 mix and match, Nokia 6288 - 300 will be £15 per month for 6 months - £90 - £32.50 from Quidco, - £30 RAF = £27.50 for the six months, £20 voucher for headsets etc and a phone worth at least £50 which you could sell on ebay - sound good? Still better than a cashback deal given the current problems being reported with e2save etc.

I said I was leaving as there were unlimited text deals elsewhere with a new phone that worked out better. I refused their first two offers but indicated I would prefer to give them my money if they could give me a better deal. They compromised by saying I had to have an 18 month contract but I did not mind that as to get all those offers for less than £20 a month with a new phone I felt was unbeatable in the current market.
P.S. My usage says "Unlimited Texts" could be 4000 a month. I don't think I could use half of those if I tried0
