Thats correct^ All existing customers will get 4G free of charge according to the press release.
Sucks they're not budging on standard pricing. Have you had the callback yet?0 -

This could be seen as a massive bonus when you see how much EE want.0 -

As far as i'm aware Three cannot change Sim Only pricing at all now. At least this is what i've been told when i had my in depth conversation with a couple of the call centre guys.
It'd be good to see them doing something for you though. Gives me something to think about for when my upgrade is due.
Btw, if you don't need tethering and 2000 mins, then Tesco are doing the Galaxy S3 on 500 mins/unl data for £25pm on Three as well so it might be worth quoting that to them.0 -

thanks, noted.
Its not essential forr me to have tethering but i download alot and im on talktalk which is utter crap.. so if i can use thethering then it would be a bonus.
yea i will keep you guys updated.0 -
another question.
if i stick with the sim only with 3 and i buy the phone outright will i be under warranty from 3 or samsung?
reason why i ask, is i had an old sony ericson and it played up a few times.
i was comforted by the knowledge a call to 3 and they send out those special delivery packets so i could send my phone for repair.
I cant be bothered travelling to the samsung service places which are few and far between.
(ps im aware all samsung phones have 2 year waaaranty by samsung)0 -
If you buy the phone sim free then the warranty is with the manufacturer.
If you buy it on contract then (in theory) the warranty is with the provider although you can also go direct to the manufacturer instead.0 -
With Samsung. 3 will have nothing at all to do with your phone.0
