3 Retention Deals

I think I counted at least 15 times. He didn't seem to understand for a while that I couldn't afford anything above £23. He was saying how when I become more accustomed in work environment I would gain lots of friends and would probably make use of the unlimited plan. They made me chuckle. Is this deal any good?
£23

Can anyone tell me, if I give my 30days notice can I call and change my mind within that time and keep my deal?
Thanks.0 -

If you do not use the PAC code then it expires after 30 days and your existing contract continues on a 1 month rolling basis.0 -
That is another offer the same as a new customer.

Thanks. It wasn't updated when I looked this morning.
PAC code and I won't hear anything else.0 -
They used to offer good retention deals but now they just browse their site whilst you are on the phone. Its handy to have it open when you call so you can double check what you are being offered.
If you get your PAC, see post 3961 to see what the winback team will offer you after they call to 'check that you have received your PAC ok'.

I just attempted to get an upgrade
Currently on a deal for £30pm on the HTC Desire
I was hoping for a deal on the HTC One X but they wouldn't budge on the price at all... claiming that they only offer everyone the same deal as it isn't fair otherwise. They wouldn't even match an offer through buymobiles.net
Asked for my pac-code and looks like i'll move to another network who value my custom...0 -

I did the same in the end. Reality is that you're not benefiting at all being an existing customer so why should you stay?0 -
Good way out of your contract, if you're in a poor signal area, ask for a signal booster and escalate your request to the complaints team, for some reason they are happy to release me from 6 contracts for free, rather than provide a signal booster for free.0

Called 3 today my contract is now due an upgrade, after arguing for 45 minutes the best offer they would give me is the Samsung Galaxy S3 on the One Plan for £34 per month, which is the same deal as new customers get from their website!!!!
I have 2 contracts with 3, both ready for upgrades, but they wouldn't drop the price for the Galaxy S3 by a penny lol
So i have now got both PAC codes and will be leaving them. terrible customer services from India.
Oh and i also mentioned to them about a £160 cash back deal from Quidco on any One Plan contracts, thus giving me the Galaxy S3 for £27.33 a month! the Indian call centre lady said Quidco are not a legitimate company, you will not get you cash back (i have been using quidco for years! never had an issue!)
And they also said the reason why upgrades and retention offers are they same deals as what new customers can get, is because from feedback 3 has received from their existing customers, they are happy to pay the same as new customers! hahahahahaah!!!! AMAZING!!!!!
Can't wait to get away from 3 and their USELESS Indian call centres0
