£5.00 download
5000 3 to 3 call

12 months contract no phone though................................

wait for it .....................7.75 inc VAT a month and i can upgrade to a phone anytime in the 12 months but i pay towards it . £28.00 loyalty discount .

I spent over an hour trying to get something like that myself, crazy!

Can I ask you how much were you paying before and what have you actually have added extra to what you had before?

I was paying £15 last year i was getting a 25.00 loyalty discount before and i had brought nokia n8 for £125 ,this year i didnt take a phone they instead gave me a further £5 off this year and they took off the internet add on and gave me free internet this year of 2gb and they added 5000 3 to 3 minutes which i didnt get last year to my original direct 1000 tariff. I have been with 3 for 6 years now and each year they have given me a loyalty discount but i can only assume the reason for this is in the past i was a high usage user i also have mobile broadband also discounted. I did use the 30 day PAC tactic where they rang me after i requested the PAC by a different retention department who can offer unbelievable deals... good luck

Thanks for getting back to me. I'd take that deal straight away if they offered it to me. Think I'll have to see if the PAC trick will work or not!

Goodness me ,it's gone very quiet on this thread.

I'm on the Vtt500 £5 a month deal with a text 1000 add on, total £10 a month. 2 contracts.
Also have 2 sim300 payg contracts.

Have requested PAC codes this morning and now awaiting call back, I'll let you know how I get on.

yep after some fruitless conversations with 3 customer upgrades where they lie and tell you every other deal is unmatchable cos they are all crooks and will actually charge you more when the contract begins!!! I am going to ask for the pac and see what happens.

My Mum's on one of the old plans where she gets:

• 300 Mins
• 150 Texts
• £5 Downloads

She only pays £5 a month, and has been on this plan for the last 8-10 years, and about 2 years ago they gave her a handset (SE T175) if she signed on for another 18months. We called them today and they wouldn't give anything, and this was through upgrades, so does anyone know which department we should be aiming for and what deals/offers we should ask?

You should select the 'thinking of leaving' option rather than upgrades. They have also enabled the upgrade online section on My3 again but I dont know what that is like.

Asked yesterday about 4pm contacted 24 hours later. Offered 2 deals Galaxy europa free for both either 500x minx/text 2000 3 to 3 mins and 500mb data. £8 for life? but 24 month contract


or same deal but 300x mins, 2000 3 to 3 , 5000 text and 250mb .


Decided to tale neither as we wanted a Galalxy S2.

Prefer to stay on 3 as we have 3 to 3 mins and can call each other -5/6 of us have 3 but they are making it difficult!
